Great Knife at a Great Price
This knife is very nice, been collecting knives for over 40 years and i’m happy to add this to the collection. blade is sharp keeps an edge, i like d2 tool steel anyway , and it fits my wide hands. the tension lock is a little stiff so it doesn’t flip fast but i’ll fix it when i get time.

Far better knife than the price would suggest!
This knife is an improved clone of an Ontario knife company rat. The g10 scalesare ergonomic and textured enough to have good grip but not enough to be uncomfortable. The blade is d2 this may not be enough for some steel snobs but I was able to sharpen it to 20° and finely chop about 5lb of vegetables and part out 2 chickens. Then cut up a bunch of cardboard boxes and still shave hair with it. The fit and finish are perfect. The blade centers perfectly when closed and has great lock up when deployed. The most notable upgrade from the rat is the addition of the axis lock. The lock adds the feeling of saftey and lends confidence to this knifes ability to handle heavy duty tasks. I am very impressed and I would 100% recommend this knife to anyone.

Don't knock all of the knock off knife companies.
Just gonna tell it straight.I *could* have spent $20 more for the RAT 1. I chose Ganzo's offering because it has all the goodness of the RAT 1 but with the G-lock. Instant win. This guy gets daily use, and stands up to all I put it through (admittedly I beat my knives to death)For all those "Blah blah razor sharp ootb, blah blah" turds...still as razor sharp as the day I got it.Great knife for a great price.

Affordable Quality
I’ve been using this knife daily for about two months now. After carrying a Rat 1 for two years I got tired of how quickly the Aus 8 lost its edge and had to be sharpened. I sprung for this as because of the “D2.”Good news: if it’s not D2, it’s a very similar alloy with high mechanical abrasion resistance. I have only had to sharpen once after rolling the edge over in a few spots on the factory sharpened edge right after getting it. Since that re-profile of the secondary bevel I have just elected to strop the blade once a week.I have seen people bending the springs in the axis/G lock so it’s easier to retract. Best thing you can do is use the thing 20 times a day and it will break in nicely. Not as easy as a Benchmade but that’s going to be the case at the price. Handle scales are durable. I have one good scratch but they are wearing in nicely.Only gripe I have is that the knife cannot be carried tip down. Great affordable knife that can take a beating.

Axis lock Bonus
While there seems to be a number of manufacturers making folders that pay homage to the original Ontario Rat1 design, this one stands out as an interesting alternative. The axis style locking mechanism works well, & for me at least adds some confidence that it won't close until I want it to. The blade dimensions are just at what I would consider the larger end of EDC, & is a very useful geometry for most cutting tasks in the field. The flat grind adds some sturdiness to what is already a thicker blade profile, indicating this was designed for some hard use, though D2 will be a bit tougher to put an edge on. So far I haven't had a chance to abuse mine yet, but it has a decent factory edge from a belt sander.

Great knife, wrong item
I really like the overall knife I received, but it was the wrong model. I didn't get the rounded top one that I was looking for. Quality is great though.

Great knife for the price
First off I use my knife all the time at my work. So I waited a bit to review this knife and so far it has held up great. Comes out of the box razor sharp. The grips feel good the knife opens easy. Is it the most high end no but if you want a good solid every day Cary knife I think this is a good budget friendly option

Good knife- stiff axis lock
Axis lock so stiff that my thumb and forefinger were hurting after several open and close cycles. Found this video on YouTube on how to loosen the omega spring. Now movement is easy and smooth
