Good for small hand wood carving
I use these for handheld wood carving (1"-2" wide by 6" balsa wood blocks). Good grip, good cut prevention. Knife-tips go right through the glove, but that's going to happen unless you use a chainmail glove, which wouldn't give you much dexterity for small block wood carving.

Protection, comfort and control.
These gloves offer comfort and protection when I am carving wood. Protection, comfort and control is the quality needed for carving.

Ugly but totally functional
These are supposed by be safety gloves, but the weave of the material is too coarse to protect from splinters or thorns. I use them for bicycling and motorcycling. The coarse weave lets in air better than any other gloves I've used. The dots provide a pretty good grip even with sunblock on them or when it's raining. They stretch out of shape pretty quickly but still work. The dots wear off the index finger and thumb in the course of a season, but you can switch hands and they work for another although they get pretty baggy in the end.

Great grip & feel.
Only glove I’ve found that has good grip & protection while still allowing me to feel what’s in my hand while carving. Excellent.

The sizing on these are pretty accurate, perhaps a 1/2 size smaller
The sizing on these are pretty accurate, perhaps a 1/2 size smaller, but being a stretch fit the sizing is acceptable. The blue rubber coating has good grip.I original purchased the full rubber grip, which works well; but after a year they started to delaminate from the base glove. So I decided to give these a try to see if the smaller dots would do two things: 1) give better dexterity, and 2) if they do delaminate, then it won't rip off in large sections like the others did. Have only got a little bit of use with them so far, and as expected you have much better tactile feel. Good gloves
Let me start off by saying I've been using these gloves for three days and they are already the best work gloves I've used. The reason why I can tell you this after only three days is, I work in the steel industry and I'm lucky if I have a pair of gloves for a day or two before they have holes. Usually my gloves are unusable within a week. They hand out your basic cheap rubber dot gloves and basic cheap leather gloves at work. They both suck. These gloves are thin enough that you can easily maneuver your hands for detail oriented work, while being more rugged than leather work gloves.Cons:-because the fabric is kevlar and super cut-resistant, the gloves get loops pulled fairly easily. A minor annoyance.-$8 for a pair of work gloves-same shoddy craftsmanship as your cheap cotton knit rubber dot gloves (but better materials). So far they were worth the money. I'll update this review when they start getting holes.

Super price for quality safety item
I use a rotary cutter for sewing and quilting. I saw a similar product used on a tv quilting program as a way to help prevent hand cuts from rotary cutters. This item was a pair of gloves (each glove will fit either right or left hands). I researched other specialty gloves designed for use with rotary cutters, and they were generally a much more expensive price for only one glove. The glove goes onto your non-cutting hand which is holding the fabric and/or ruler...and is therefore potentially directly in line with the blade. I keep my glove with my cutting mat, rotary cutter, and case as a reminder to use it. The glove is a bit large and has a floppy fit (there wasn't any sizing guidelines when I purchased). However, since it isn't form fitting, my hand doesn't get sweaty using it even for extended cutting sessions. This glove could be used for other projects around the home or work place (cutting or handling glass or metal with sharp edges for example). I have not washed it yet, but the pair I received said machine washable. The glove is not suitable for using with fine motor skill tasks, such as picking up pins and needles. However, works fine on sewing/crafting tasks such as aligning your cutting ruler with the fabric. I wish the seller would offer a greater variety of sizes (with size guidelines). But still a great price for an important safety item.

Whittling glove
Very comfortable glove but wood chips stick to it more than other gloves that look the same. But it does it's job of protection and that's what is important.
