Ocean of Light: 30 Years in Tonga and the Pacific

For people that enjoy human interest accounts and knowledge on the South Pacific
I ordered this book as I read that it contained the account of a Captain that had rescued several Tanga youths who had ship wrecked on a remote island for many months and their experience was not like Lord of The Flies but a success story. As I finished that section up, I continued my read and glad that I did.Captain Warren, an Australian, spent many years sailing the South Pacific and helping the peoples of many remote parts. This happened years ago but possibly a movie or true account by a survivor will be produced.

Interesting Story
Interesting story. I have spent time in the Marshall Islands so this was fascinating. I especially liked the description of the Tonga boys’ rescue.

Great book about the love for Pacific and its people
It is a nice almost contemporary adventure book. The author is an admirable character, who honestly tried to do good in his life while at the same time enjoyed the surroundings.
