This necklace is striking. It is simple but very eye catching. The armature pendant hangs from a metallic gold thick leather cord. The cord has handmade brass end caps with a lobster claw clasp. The armature is made of heavy copper wire which is hammered for texture. Then it was formed and embellished and held in place by brazing. A beautiful long red quartz bead is suspended in the center of the armature. The quartz bead has been crackled and faceted to give it some rustic bling. When the copper has been brazed the result is a rich bronze color. The piece has an overall primitive look that I love and for which I strive. The necklace is 20" long with the pendant being 3" long and 2" wide. The quartz bead is 2" long. Enjoy Handmade!
