Days of Thunder – 4K Ultra HD [Blu-ray] [2020] [Region Free] [4K UHD]

If you love the film then this is as good as it gets. They only thing missing is an Atmos sound track but that's only minor. The racing looks fantastic in 4K and all the quotes are there for you to reel off. "It under Rowdy's time."

Don't know why there is so many bad reviews of this it's the best the film has ever looked. The film was made in the 90s so it will have grain. All the reviews that say the picture is bad must have cheap 4k set ups because the film has never looked better.

Enjoyed this film very much, but what struck me was the theme was similar to Top Gun and even the music although by a different composer. Well worth a watch.

This is a guilty pleasure movie for me so was looking forward to getting it in the same month as 4K discs of Top Gun and Jaws. Both Top Gun and Jaws are stellar in terms of picture and sound, clearly showing the love that had gone into the remastering. Days of Thunder, not so much. Although it is the best the movie has looked on a home format, it is far from perfect. Picture varies from grain city to wonderfully crisp (at Daytona) and everything in between. The sound is True HD 5.1 which is very good but could have benefitted form a Dolby Atmos upgrade.If you like the movie, this is the best version you'll find.
