R.WS.'s books are simply top notch. I am distraught I've made my way through all 4 of them now. The puzzles are clever and unique and the explanations are well written. I hope hope hope the author let's us visit the island again! Maybe Cheryl will decide she wants to continue the family tradition??

I have completed all four of these books, and some of them twice. What am I supposed to do now? Go back to sudoku and logic puzzles? NooooooFor reference, I was tested by Mensa almost 30 years ago to be at 98.9 percentile. I love these puzzles. Not all of them are perfect, but most are a delight and I love the variety. The only puzzle type in these books I don't care for are the ones with the layout of the mansion because some were a bit ambiguous, but all the others are chef's kiss.

I absolutely loved all 4 of these books. I finished them all over a 3 week period! I literally had difficulty putting them down. Some were fairly easy but most were challenging in detail which was great because some collections are way too easy. The back stories in these books was a lot of fun to tie the puzzles together. I feel like picking up a regular book of logic puzzles is rather plain now. I only wish there were at least 4 more to the series! These are a must for logic puzzle addicts like me!

My sister and I are doing this together! We each have a book and we are going through it then we compare notes. So fun!

Excellent puzzles for logic lovers!

There’s an error with puzzle 7.3 and the answer key. It confirms that location H is found by 5 guests, but then gives 6 guests as having found H. There is no relevant clue to find whether location G or J should have 2 guests.

This is the best logic puzzle series ever. Fun and not too easy.

The puzzles are not solvable and too convoluted and confusing to complete.

90% of the puzzles in this book are fantastic. Like all of the books in this series, there are a handful of puzzles here where the author's line of thinking just didn't compute for me, and there are a frustrating number of clues that could be written with more specificity and clarity. There was also a puzzle in here that I found, as far as I can tell, a perfectly sound solution to that is completely different from the author's solution provided in the answer key. In spite of the shortcomings, I find myself returning to this series whenever a new book in it is released. The puzzles that do work are such a deeply satisfying challenge. I eagerly anticipate the next Montague Island installment.
