Coleman Sundome 6-Person Dome Tent

Super price - not available in italy - super dark room and dimension. Good package and delivery. Beautiful colors and it seems really easy to pickup. I will write something more after use in camping....

I liked the idea if a dark tent as wife has difficulty in sleeping in light environment.The tent looked really good in store and TBH it was a bit of an impulse buy.Tent went up OK.Didn't like the idea of all the poles being perminanly attached at Central hub.It was waaaaaaay to easy to get tangled up.It is a great size and as expected dark inside.Then came the downside.Upon entering the tent from the outside you are COMPLETELY in the dark.You end up fumbling arround standing on things, knocking things etc, until your eyes adjust.There are zip down panels inside to let in more light.But some idiot used black zips with a black zipper inside a black tent.So in the night you would fumble arround trying to find the zip.Worse was to come.Fold down the panels for more light, have to have door unzipped to make much difference, and you freeze or get wet as there is nothing between the inside of the tent mesh window and outside.If it rains and you unzip the door it will CERTAINLY drop inside the tent with all the surface water.Wind did not fair any better.The tent is tall and has insufficient tether points.It was EXTREMELY floppy in gusty winds.Too the point where pole was banging my head.The inside of the tent is too closely coupled to the frame and outer.The gap is way too small.Hence on windy day the tent made a LOT OF NOISE.Best I can say is the dark room works.But waaaaaaaaay easier to buy an eye mask.Also the bag supplied for the tent is RIDICULOUSLY small.Great in a factory when dry and no wind.Virtually impossible to get back inside.Too way too much effort.This tent is more of a shelter with a gimmick.Not best for real use
