CompTIA A+ 220-801 and 220-802 Cert Guide

I combined this text which contains alot of what you need but not everything with Michael Myers 220-801, which also contains alot of what you need but not everything. Together match up chapter by chapter, for example the section on Printers contains much in this text but Myers text has the 'missing' information. And conversely this text does a better job of explaining some other A+ 220-801 objectives than Myers. Both are of a completely different style. They compliment each other quite well .... I would buy both if you are serious. I did buy both on the Network Plus exam and passed on the first try as it was the same experience, what one covered the other did not. One is not 'better' than the other, its just this text is more "textbookish" and "Myers" is more like reading transcript of a good lecturer/professor/teacher in the classroom.You need both...bottom line, I don't think you could really get all you need from either text

Well I'll be taking my A+ exam in a few weeks... The book its self is good . The info in the book is good...Wile the** Kindle ver.**** JUST (bits...the ...Bits.... so to speck of) IT DOSE NOT Have any type of testing material I was looking for. except for end of chap. subject test. 10 question type. NO downloadable tests (practice exams) as you have gotten from the Book,with the C.D. inside THE BOOK Like I said BOOK GOOD........... KINDLE BAD.........

After reading the reviews, I decided to order this edition to prepare for the A+ certification. While I haven't taken the exam yet, it seems to be easy enough to understand and has a logical layout. My biggest complaint what trying to activate the practice exams. I emailed the publisher no less than three times as well as attempted to call. No luck or response. Today, as I was writing my review, I tried to activate the exams and it worked! Not sure what was causing the issue, but at least I can take the practice tests.

This book is just what I needed. I am retired but would like to continue to learn about computers. I can study at my own pace. The detailed photos are clear and shows very well on my Samsung 7'0 tablet. I can zoom in and study the different computer parts. The information is explained in great details and provides info that I've always wanted to know about computers. I just might take the Comptia A+ test. Another good book for the treadmill, the book is so en gaging you don't realize you worked out for an hour.

If you're trying to learn the ins and outs of a computer, BUY THIS BOOK. It's worth the money!Not only does it prep you for the A+ cert exam, you learn so much via detailed descriptions, examples, and pictures.I needed this for my first year in college and I kept the hard cover book because I liked it so much. I'm a computer geek but it still helps me cover hardware problems that I'm fuzzy with.

I read this book and enjoy the content. But for preparing the CompTIA A+ test you probably need more preparation because some of the test questions are based on real experience. I survive the test and get the certificate so I like it.

I ordered this book as a gift based on reviews of fellow amazon buyers. I gave it as a gift forChristmas. I thought it would arrive after Christmas coz i ordered it about late. I was just too glad to receive it last week giving me ample time to wrap and give it this Christmas. The book arrived on time and as described. Thanks to fhe seller.

Will get you A+ cetified no problem.Some issues that I have come across in the field are not in the book. The book is a good starting point.

The book is a good value for a invested money.i would go do it again.it's logic,friendly to use and you will gain a good knowledge base.

Scritto in lingua inglese ma più chiaro di un qualsiasi altro libro letto fin'ora in lingua madre.A volte è un po' ripetitivo, è vero, ma forse è anche meglio!Le 10-15 domande alla fine di ogni capitolo aiutano molto a capire quale capitolo va riguardato e quale si conosce come le proprie tasche.Ancora non l'ho finito, 1000 pagine (circa) non sono poche, ma sono a buon punto (700 e qualcosa) e devo dire che fino ad ora la lettura è stata piuttosto scorrevoleLo consiglio :D Oltre ad essere ottimo per l'esame (spero) è la bibbia di ogni tecnico :D

Ho studiato da questo libro prima di svolgere l'esame per la certificazione Comptia A+. Mi sono trovato molto bene in quanto nonostante sia in lingua l'inglese è comprensibile (anche per studenti non molto ferrati con lingua) e la lettura risulta scorrevole. Quiz a fine capitolo molto utili per capire il livello di comprensione. Da evidenziare anche 2 prove d'esame all'interno del CD-Rom molto utili per approcciarsi mentalmente alla prova finale. Lo consiglio assolutamente ad occhi chiusi. Buono studio
