My husband is an artist, and I've tried getting him to save his shirts by using a cloth artist's coat, but what happens is that the wet oil paints take so long to dry that wherever he then sets the coat becomes an inadvertent palatte of every color he's used that day.These were the perfect solution. He can wear one when he sits down to paint and then toss it in the garbage at the end of the day. They're solid and strong enough to last the day and don't tear or rip when he moves. If he's managed to keep them relatively free of major paint, they can be reworn for several days, but if he's covered in color, he just ditches the coat.Problem solved.

I like the fact it has pockets

I’ve been ordering these lab coats for some time now. Lately with each order they’re getting thinner and thinner! Also they’re so easily to to tear. I tried to unbutton the gown and the whole gown tore with the button still buttoned!
