These were purchased as a "clearance item", but having a box of them makes it easy to invite family and friends to places they might not otherwise go without some sort of hearing protection--like car races or the local firing range. Each pair is individually wrapped in plastic for easy distribution and use. Having them in bulk offers a long lasting supply and dissuades one from putting "used" foams back into the ear between events or cross contamination, especially in loud work environments with multiple employees. Excellent cost per item protection.

I threw a huge party for my husband's 50th and we had bands so I put these all in a giant bowl on a table at the entrance. It was perfect that they are individually wrapped! They came in handy at the party and we have the leftovers in a jar at the house for when we head out to shows, we just grab a pair on our way out! They fit great and do the trick!

These foam ear plugs are the worst I've ever purchased for the following reasons;They are too small of diameter. They don't expand tightly into ear canal.They are too short. Once you get them into your are canal they dissapear and are difficult to remove.They seem to be made with a poor low density foam and don't properly expand in your ear to properly block noise or sound.They seem sticky and are difficult to remove for this reason also.I don't believe they are sold with size options but these earplugs seem to be made for young children. I've purchased many different brands before and have never had this level disappointment with ear plugs before.

They do the job. Wish they were an 1/8th inch longer for easier removal.
