Designed better than my old adapter and allows me to take stable photos and videos using my tripod.
The media could not be loaded. I take a lot of photos and videos with my cell phone and that means that I use a tripod a LOT! That means that I need a cell phone adapter to use with my tripod. I first bought an adapter that I thought would work well but alas the bottom of the adapter broke, the plastic around the nut that the bolt from the tripod screws into just broke apart! I thought maybe I had been too hard on it so I purchased the same style again. In less than a month that second adapter broke so I decided I needed to find a different style. That is when I found the Nomadic Gear Cell Phone Adapter that is designed for smartphones. There are several things that I really like about this adapter. Instead of just have a little bit of plastic around the connecting nut that nut is encased in the entire end of the adapter. It will take a lot of force for this adapter to break around the connector nut. I also like that there is a slight lip on the base end of where the phone goes into the holder. One thing that is hard for me is pulling the top of the adapter up when I put my phone into it. There is nothing wrong with the adapter, it’s just stiff and hard for my old hands to pull it. This nifty cell phone adapter for my tripod has allowed me to take pictures and videos without holding onto my phone, making the quality of my photos better.

great accessory. Pretty solid
This worked perfectly with my phone and tripod. Recorded hours of presentations successfully; great accessory. Pretty solid. It is *just* large enough to accommodate a Samsung Note 4 (the phone I used this with.) Be advised that that is without any cases/skins on the phone. Even a thin case will prevent it from fitting.
