What I didn't think about when purchasing these tongs, is that you need to be weary of how hot the food/pot/pan will be before using them. The tongs are great, look great, the red color is nice, but again, just be weary of the heat when using them.

You can't not have one of these in the kitchen. They lock in the closed position to save space in the drawer, very useful.
