I have purchased 3 of these. I love them. They are sturdy enough for the bird feeders on them and easy enough to pick up and move if needed. I would but them again

Not a heavy duty shepherds hook
It is a nice shepherd's hook, good for a bird's feeder or a light hanging basket. My basket weight was not even 15 pounds and bent it. I fixed it with a string connected to the fence and for now, is working.I would like to have a pole wider than 5/8"

Shorter than advertised
Definitely not 78 inches from ground to top. Comes in pieces - easy to assemble - but this makes it less sturdy. VERY lightweight. I am curious to see if it does get rusty after a season of use.

Birds love, squirrels not so much...
I put this shepherd hook in the backyard to hang my bird feeders. The birds are being fed daily but some squirrels aren't yet hibernating. Unfortunately, the squirrels aren't able to get to the feeders but they have their own picnic table corn feeder.

EASY TO INSTALL AND USE
So easy to install and use. Exactly what I expected. Only thing I misjudged on my part was my expectation of height. Description was spot on, I simply miscalculated on my part. Hung a big bird feeder and this product work perfectly. Squirrels have not tried to climb

Not squirrel proof
The media could not be loaded. I bought this Sheppard's hook hoping that the squirrels won't be able to climb it. But of course they did.Assembly, especially staking the pole to the ground was not intuitive. Seems to be an okay product otherwise- pretty sturdy. Clearly holds a squirrel's weight at least. Lol. Time will tell if it gets rusted!

It looks good
We bought it for bird food and it works great only think is squirrels can climb on it . We were surprised because slippery but oh well still fits the purpose of buying perfectly.
