RnB Power Plus AT-Batt Pack Battery for Garrett AT Pro AT Max AT Gold w/ Charger

Purchased this in hopes of never having to buy AA batteries again for my AT PRO. What a waste. The supplied plug they give you barely fits into the charging port. You have to force it. When you do finally get it charged and head out to metal detect, it lasts for MAYBE 3 hours. You would need to buy 3 of these to last a full summer day of detecting. If the sale price was $15, it would be a good buy. But its not. Don't waste your time.

Had this for two years. Worked pretty good the first year and then was in a steady decline (in battery life) for the last year. Until today, when I charged it all night and it wasn't taking a charge. I'm not going to buy another one, just going to invest in some good rechargeable batteries. I'm sure it will cost me less than $75 too.

Only cycled this battery 2 times and it no longer holds a charge. In between charges, I balanced the pack to allow for a storage that lasted about 1 month and kept it on a monitored trickle. These packs are junk. My suggestion is to make your own pack, like I did and you will get a much better quality cell for half the price.

I purchased this product for my son since he is an avid metal detector...as they say it is "dirt fishing" funny but true. The savings alone on batteries is amazing. This product has a very long battery life before it needs charging. The product is excellent. Two of my sons friends have purchased them now.

Haven't used this too long however, i am finding this to be a good addition to extending my battery usage, instead of buying new batteries, every time we go out hunting. To me this is a little over-priced as I could make this myself for a lot less than Garret and so this is something Garret should think about.

I used this battery pack in a Garrett AT Pro with ZLink headphones. Took it out for a couple of 3 hour hunts and the battery life indicator was still full. Third time I took it out, it was showing one bar down when I powered it up then died a hour or so later. So with a full charge, it lasted 7-8 hours, which was short of what I expected.

Junk! Battery pack exploded

Very disappointed with this product! 1st time I used it after charging it out of the box it didn’t work. Good thing I had extra batteries. Still doesn’t last but 1-2 hrs and it goes from fully charged to 0 without warning
