The media could not be loaded. We got these to help us keep track of leftovers. I was a bit apprehensive because they are designed for commercial kitchens and I was worried our dishwasher wouldn’t be enough to remove the labels. One of my concerns was also that the adhesive would leave residue or discolor containers.We have used these on Rubbermaid tritan plastic containers, Tupperware, sterilite food containers, and other plastic and glass food storage containers. So far we have had zero issues with the labels washing off. Even a light soak in the sink is enough to dissolve a label.*Note the video shows hot water dissolving the label*Given our experience, we feel we can recommend these for any kitchen— commercial, home, or otherwise!

My experience working in restaurants taught me to use dissolve date labels for refrigerated foods. Only other need is to print a list of foods with number of days until expire. Label can be used as date placed in refrigerator or date to be removed. You set up your system and be consistent. Mom always said, "When in doubt throw it out." I have friends who use the "sniff test" which is not accurate since spoiled food can have no detectable odor yet has toxic chemicals (as opposed to bacteria only) that are not made safe by cooking or reheating.Be safe. Use clear labels.

These labels are simple to use, and are helpful for anything that you need to keep track of the day/date for. They are easy to mark with a pen or marker. There is a decent amount of space to write on, but not a ton of room, so if you were to write small you'd be able to write the contents. I use these labels to mark the date of when I opened food containers, or to store leftovers, and the labels wash off well in the dishwasher or the sink.With 1000 labels per roll/day, I probably will have these for a long, long time. The dispenser holds the rolls well so the edges/labels don't get messed up, and its makes it easy to dispense just what you need. Since these labels dissolve in water, make sure your mounting surface is dry, and/or your hands are dry!

We use day dots daily in our locations..just wish the refills were not soo expensive.We order from a different vender at 4.99 each so will go with them to replace therolls instead of this company at 9.77 each. Prices are so high now and adding to theBOH costs cuts the bottom line.

Works Great, I just wish it was less expensive.

A little small for the area you are going to write on, but the worst is that they disintegrate very quickly, bringing a food Safety program

No confusion for the staff, first in first out.

We use these in our kitchen to keep track of repackaged perishables. They're small and a bit hard to read but it doesn't take long to memorize the colour coding. Best thing is that they dissolve without leaving residue on reusable containers and the dispenser makes them very easy to use.
