The gold hands are not visible from a distance more than 6 to 10 foot, but I think I will just have to paint them black and I will be happy I believe.

You can't read the clock
design is beautifulbut you can't read the clocksince its watch hands are painted with darkish golden coloryou will have hard time to read the clock time to time.
