Great for 3!
I bought this for my son when he was two so he could grow into it. He is now 3 and puts all the pieces someplace and shapes into the proper fit; right now we are working on the color matching part of it. The pieces can stay on the board on a shelf or stored in the storage bag that comes with it. My son loves putting the pieces away (clean up time), so we take off the pieces each time.
