PyrexCook & Freeze Rectangular Glass Dish with Plastic Lid (4L) – Oven, Microwave, Freezer & Dishwasher Safe

I recommend waiting until these drop down to £5, which happens regularly on this item.As I write this, current price of £6 is a good deal, but £5 is a total bargain.I found the first one I bought so useful and such good value I bought a 2nd a couple of months later.By now I am sure you know Pyrex by reputation - strong, durable and hard wearing cookware that is oven, dishwasher and microwave safe.Having the lid also gives the flexibility to store in your fridge/freezer, which is an excellent bonus.Really cannot go wrong with some of these in your home,so stop dithering and buy it!

I bought 4 of the 4 litre size pyrex dishes and although I was very, very pleased with the dishes I was very disappointed that the lids discoloured after one wash but apart from the lids discolouring I love the size of the containers themselves. I have 4 other ones exactly the same that I bought years ago with orange lids and I still have all 4 of them and they have been used over and over again. These glass pyrex dishes are very solidly made and withstand high oven heat as well as wash well in the dishwasher.These also stack nicely in the fridge so you can make dishes in advance and store then in the fridge on top of one another. This worked really well for me over the Christmas period as we had extra guests and I was able to make food in advance and pack everything neatly in the fridge. Also, you can take the dish straight from the fridge and remove the lid and put foil over the top and pop it in the oven.I would suggest washing the lids by hand and I would highly recommend these. They are one of the most useful items I have in my kitchen and really great for layered dishes such as potato dishes and lasagnes.

These are just wonderful. I use them for every kind of oven dish from crumbles to macaroni cheese. The glass dish is much deeper than any other casserole dish I’ve come across...... great for lasagne or mussels. The lids are not meant to be leak proof but makes them easier to store in fridge and stop dripping into food. In my case the cat helping himself ! I’ve got4 of them and have been using them for about 3 years. The kids to split in the corner if put into hot glass immediately , so wait for it to cool down.

Como poseedor de muchos de estos tuppers durante muchos muchos años, creo que os puede ayudar mi opinión.👍PROS: Guardarlos es una gozada (fotos). Puedes apilar de distintos tamaños como otras marcas pero también los del mismo tamaño! a diferencia de muchas otras marcas que esto último no se puede, con este modelo, con una única columna dedicada a tuppers, se acabó, ya no necesitas tener más espacio en casa de tapas y cacharros!👎CONTRAS: las tapas son muy poco resistentes (recomiendo no meterlas en el microondas) se acaban rajando y cogiendo el color de salsas como el tomate (foto tapa). Contacte con el fabricante pero no venden las tapas sueltas por lo que tenemos un cristal para toda la vida y unas tapas que duran un par de años. Una verdadera lástima. El cristal a pesar de aguantar congelación, horno y lavavajillas se termina por arañar y quedar como blanquecino.🤔Si Pyrex tuviese una línea de tuppers igual de apilables y con mejor tapa serían los tuppers perfectos, de momento me mantendré con estos.Si os ha servido mi opinión y fotos en la decisión de compra (o no) puedes darle al botón de debajo del comentario para que otros compradores la encuentren :)👇👇👇

This is the second of this product that I've purchased and I love them. They're large enough to cook family pasta bakes, cottage pie, enchiladas etc. They're deep too so no over spill issues if you like to make good thick layered lasagne.The lid is a fab addition - no fuss to move into tubs for the fridge, just let it cool down and pop the lid on and straight in. I make large dishes to last 3-4 days and store it this way just taking a portion at a time. Very much recommended!
