The most difficult part of reviewing this album was not being able to approach it objectively. I actually listened to it numerous times to see if there was something I may have missed during the initial run-through of the tracks. After all, I should be weighing out each track and making unbiased assessments. But the more I listened, the more I was drawn into the captivating music one track at a time from start to finish.Home 2 is a work that proves music has no boundaries. It is performed in Korean with the exception of the track, Hold On, which is in english. Still every song has a stirring effect even if you don’t understand the language. It brought to mind a famous quote by Stevie Wonder; “Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand.” That statement accurately describes Home 2 and it’s power to reach the heart.Home 2 clearly reflects the musical genius and passion of singer/songwriter/musician Roy Kim. The ability to move listeners with his music is not something easily acquired and many artists never realize it. But Roy has achieved it on his second studio album. And like the artist, there is nothing ordinary about this album. Refined, yet excitingly powerful, compellingly driven and charmingly gentle; He left nothing out of the mix. With no detection of filler material, each and every track is prime with hit potential.Home 2 has nine tracks, Nothing Lasts Forever, When Autumn Comes, Home(title track), If You Love Me, Now I Know, Hold On, Curtain, Far Away and Thank You.I find no fault with this amazing album. While unsuccessfully resisting the urge to gush, my honest opinion (which is shared throughout the world)is that this album is a BIG winner. I highly recommend it. - Jacqueline Rowe (MusicSmoke)

Amazing voice. Thoughtful song writer. Excellent musician. Love him. Love this CD.

I wholeheartedly agree that all the songs are genuinely special. I thank the first reviewer who has so thoroughly reviewed it and posted their comments. Its been awhile that I actually want to buy a cd and want to keep listening to it!
