Melodica Songbook: Christmas Songs

I do like this book x but for a beginner hand positions become an issue with just the second song x it does tell you at the bottom of the page the range of notes used and suggested hand position to start, which is helpful but offers no help at all when there is a need to change hand position up the keyboard x if you’re learning alone I don’t feel this is the best book to start with x with all the information needed to learn at the start it would have been nice and encouraging just to be able to learn a few songs and get a feel for moving up the keyboard under the guidance of the book before having to work it out alone, as to which cross overs or pass unders and where to do them x I’ll try and find another Christmas with fingering and come back to this one at a later date xI’m guessing that the other books in the series are the same x which I think is a shame x so I won’t be buying them anytime soon
