Works, period
This serum is the sole reason my eyebrow frown line is not as prominent. The only thing I’ve changed in my moisturizing line up was the Dr. Sebagh repair serum, and after 3 months of using it nightly, I’ve noticed my skin looks brighter, and my middle eyebrow frown line has smoothed out quite a bit. I’m very happy with it. I’ve since bought a second bottle, it’s quite pricey, but the results make it worth it. I have moved to using the serum every other night though to keep my costs down. If you can afford it, try it!

A Serum with Focus, only 10 ingredients!
I have used and enjoyed other skin care products from this brand, so when I saw this Serum Repair - Skin Hydrating Repairing Serum by Dr Sebagh, I pretty much pounced on it.In the skin care world It's not unusual to see products with dozens of ingredients in them, so I found it refreshing that this product has only 10 and almost all of them are focused on hydration and repair. The three main players for this are hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid and peptides, but there are other contributors as well, like glycerin and butylene glycol. All these humectants (water attracting ingredients) are there to quench the thirst of the skin and by doing that it gets plumped up looking and tighter, while also making fine lines and wrinkles look shallower (reduced). The good news is, it works. I've been using this serum for a couple weeks now and every single time I use it my skin immediately looks firmer and tighter. If I put it under my puffy eyes in the morning it's a matter of minutes before that area is smoothed out. The serum is clear, scentless, and non-greasy. During application it does feel a tiny bit sticky, but that disappears immediately because my skin loves to drink this stuff right up. After application my face looks wonderful but it does not necessarily feel softer or moisturized, if anything it has a powdery feeling finish on it. But that is fine, because this serum is meant to bring water into your skin and needs to be followed with a moisturizer full of emollients to seal it all in there. For such a simple and clean formula I was surprised to see that they used a harsh preservative like phenoxyethanol. Phenoxyethanol is problematic for many as a potential irritant. It is also controversial because during the production process chemical reactions occur that release toxic byproducts, which can then contaminate the end product. The byproducts created are ethylene oxide, benzene, and 1,4-dioxane, all known carcinogens. There are more natural alternatives for preservatives and I wish they had chosen those instead.Other than that one ingredient though, this formulation is pristine and I do love that it is focused- not trying to accomplish every single issue that the skin can encounter. Currently the serum is selling for $101 for a .68 oz bottle. Ouch! Dr Sebagh is a well-known brand, so I think this is one of those cases where that's what it costs because people will pay it. On the flip side, if it were too inexpensive it would no longer appeal to the well-heeled folks who use this brand. Even though the ingredients are pretty standard, the genius is in the way they are being used and the results speak for themselves. Obviously it's probably overpriced somewhat, but the value is definitely there because it's rare to see such visible results so quickly.Highly recommendedMade in France

I’ve had better…
I had high hopes for this product, especially given the price tag. Unfortunately, it fell flat for me. It’s pretty basic, nothing special. It does hydrate but that’s about it. My youngest daughter shops the dollar store for face and skin care and this feels super similar to one of the serums she buys from there - just not really anything special or impressive and not worth the cost, in my opinion.

Serum Repair – Intensive Hydrating and Collagen-Boosting Facial Serum
Greta product from a respected and well known brand! I just about finished the bottle and feel I can say I've noticed a change in the hydration of my face, however I don't feel like there was much improvement in my fine lines.I love the simple ingredients, the reputable company, and the effectiveness of hydration. I do recommend this serum but also feel strongly that there are more affordable product that can provide the same or better results.

Pricey but works!
I have used this for about a month now and seen surprising results. Fine lines around my eyes seem more finished. My skin is brighter, soft and hydrated. A little pricey for most, but a powerhouse if you can afford it! So many great ingredients in one bottle!!

Basic ingredients and a hefty price
I use a lot of serums but this wasn’t a brand I had heard of. I’ll admit, I was intrigued by the priciness of it, and wondered what miracle in a bottle it contained. Sadly, I was underwhelmed. For starters, it comes in a really cheap, thin box—the kind you would expect for an off-label brand, not a high-end luxury brand. The bottle itself, though it got points for being amber, has a top that was difficult to unscrew. Also, you are getting so little product here. Normally serums are in 1 oz bottles. This one is about 2/3 of an ounce, Also, it’s basically just hyaluronic acid and collagen—ingredients you can readily find in much less expensive brands. It has a slight tightening effect and leaves a tacky residue- for that reason I haven’t tried using it during the day because I’m not sure it would play nice with my other products and makeup. I don’t know. I’m just kind of confused by why this is a $100 serum or why anyone would pay that for it. It’s a little ho hum for me.
