StorageWorks Storage Bins for Shelves with Metal Frame, Rectangle Storage Baskets, Large, Natural, 2-Pack

So disappointed in these bins, cannot believe how many 5 star reviews there are! At first glance they just seem a little cheap and wrinkly, that’s fine.. maybe they’ll smooth over time. Then I tried to pull one off of a shelf, and the metal frame just collapsed. They all collapsed upon just trying to grab them to put something in (see second picture) So I went to bag them up to return, looked closer, and found WRITING all over the fabric. The writing was on the INSIDE OF THE FABRIC, which means it must have happened prior to being produced. These are absolute garbage, stay away!

I’m in love! We just had a built-in installed in our mudroom that includes eight cubbies for storage. I was looking for a bin that had structure so to have a uniform look. Most I found were soft sided and flopped all over the place. No thanks! These are perfect. I ordered the Jumbo in “Mixing Natural and Grey.” Since it’s a built-in, the cubby size isn’t a standard size. I originally ordered the large but they were too small. The jumbo fit great. The metal structure is what sold me on these! I was also worried they may look a tad odd in a pure white built-in, but they are a soft ivory/natural with a thin grey line. A little steam to get out the wrinkles was all that was needed. I’m looking for other areas to put these in my house now! Ha!

I bought some of these baskets in the past and loved them, so I bought a few more. But the new baskets are missing the velcro that holds the metal frame up. The frame does not lock into place like it says in the item listing. It just falls over. In the photo you’ll see a new basket that has collapsed and is only being held up by its contents and an old basket that is perfectly upright. When I contacted the manufacturer they said they couldn’t give me replacement baskets with the velcro because this is the old version. In other words, they used to make a nice product which is why you see good reviews, but have since cut corners that make it useless and inferior.

These just arrived and I am so pleased with them. The quality is excellent during a time when it's difficult to find quality products. These are quite sturdy and the metal frame unfolds to make the basket nice and taut. There is a velcro tab to ensure the metal frame stays in place but it doesn't feel like it's going to move. The bottom is a stiff heavy duty cardboard, the sides are a thick fabric (no lining), and then the metal frames are along the edges. I can't imagine it'll hold a lot of weight but for shoes, blankets, toys, or as a laundry bin it'll certainly be sufficient. I'm planning to order more.

I bought these bins so I could fit 4 on top of our computer armoire. They were just the right size and I needed something with support- I'd be lifting them over my head to store, and putting books and games in them. I definitely didn't want storage cubes who's bottoms pop out if you hold them incorrectly. These arrived today and are awesome! They are sturdy, the canvas is thick, the supports seem strong and the handles appear to be well attached. I hope they hold up to this homeschooling family of 7. The only thing that would make these even better would be lids
