JaxxPillow Saxx 5.5-Foot - Huge Bean Bag Floor Pillow and Lounger, Black

This product is terrible. It doesn't have an interior liner... just a little ripped up foam on the inside & the exterior cover, so there is absolutely no way to machine was this. It doesn't fluff up. It just kind of...lays there....all flat and ugly and unwashable. The "cover" does have a zipper, but mine was broken.It's going to be a pain to return this via amazon, because it's huge & heavy, and normally I wouldn't waste the time to return it, but I can't believe I spent money on something this crappy.Don't do it.

This has been such a fun investment. If you’re concerned about size, I’m about 5’1” and 130lbs, a 20lb dog, a 75lb dog and a 110lb dog. Definitely roomy.

Bought this pillow to have something to lay on after pilonidal sinus surgery since you can't sit on your butt afterwards. Awesome pillow is all I can say! It's fantastic! And as I stated when you sit on it, you DO NOT SINK down through to the floor!!! Even the best of other pillows after a while you could feel the floor underneath you when you sat on them. NOT SO with this pillow!!

I think the company has changed how this product is packaged. There were no "cubes" of foam that I had to insert or break up, just the pillow (compressed and rolled up) and a cover, which I started putting on right after I "released the kraken." This pillow is HUGE. It works awesome as a beanbag (tipped on its side), a chair (half on the floor, half leaning against a wall), or even as a temporary bed for a child or small adult. It's heavy and it really fills out the pillow case... it ends up being about 8-10 inches thick. The inner pillow is made of ripstop, which is a very durable fabric. The cover is microsuede.I want MORE of these. My living room might end up looking like a permanent sleepover, but these are so comfortable and versatile. My kids and pets also approve.

I’ve waited a while to send this review to see how it would hold up and how comfortable it is. My daughter wanted to use this as her bed instead of a traditional mattress and frame. She has a small room so we tried it. She absolutely loves it. She is 5’4 and thin build. She fits on it perfect and says it’s comfortable. It doesn’t have the traditional “bean” foam filling. It felt more like bits and pieces of foam when we opened it. But not uncomfortable. I would suggest opening it in the room you intend to keep it in and let it fully expand. She waited about a full day or so. It expands fast and it’s much bigger than you’d expect.

Great for the purpose intended. Two suggestions:, if you order this and open one en of the very awkward heavy carton only to see a tightly wound ugly gray pillow, open the other end of the carton where you should find the color cover you ordered. Second, the instructions say to wait 20 minutes before putting ob the cover. Maybe it is because I live in a warm climate, but after 20 minutes the pillow was fully expanded and it took me 45 minutes of slow hard work pushing and pulling before I could stuff the giant pillow inside the cover.

I certainly like this bean bag pillow. Some notes if you purchase. Even if you fluff the stuffing material every five minutes for one year, you're not going to get the size pillow which is shown in the pictures. I'm guessing they added quite a bit more stuffing to get what is shown in the photos. My pillow is roughly 1 foot thick, but it is plenty comfortable (a perfect fit for my kotatsu). Some reviewers noted they did not think it was soft enough, which would be true based on the material the stuffing is made from. It's akin to the foam used to package large electronics, it's not a beaded styrofoam but an epp type foam which doesn't crush or break apart (like styrofoam). I find it quite comfortable to sleep on. If you wanted something softer you could mix their material with shredded foam they use in mattresses, but I think their stuffing is just fine and tends to hold its shape better over time. I would definitely buy another one if I wanted a second; I am considering purchasing their 7 foot lounger.

So, this came in the mail quicker then expected and was a lot easier to set up then I anticipated. You just unzip the outer cover on the foam, put it in the liner and pull the plastic off and zip it up. The directions said to kneed it a bit and let it expand. I kneeded it a lot- so much that afterwards I worried that maybe I ruined it because the foam was pulled apart before it started expanding. Then I let it sit for a while. So tonight is only day one, but I'm going to guess that it's pretty much fully expanded. First, let me say that the people who have written in their review that the chair does not or will not sit up on its side the way it is in the picture (either because there is so much foam that they can't indent themselves into it or because there is not enough foam that it won't stabilize in that position) - got a different amount of foam then me. Mine definitely stays up into that position without issue. Others have written the pillow is so full it looks like it will pop or that it's so full they had to remove excess foam because it was uncomfortable, ended up with way more foam then I did. Mine does not fill the entire cover to the point that it is fully stretched out, so I definitely think that unless it expands a decent amount more in the next couple of days that I could probably use a little bit more in there. I was actually hoping that mine would be filled to excess; seems like taking some foam out would be a fairly easy and obvious solution to that, and I had planned to fill a pillow that I could use with it, if I had enough extra. With that being said, it is fairly full and since it will sit on the side comfortably for me and is big and full enough for my son to lay on flat, it is good enough for me.

It's big enough to use as a spare bed when people come to stay over.
