Saboten Professional By-Pass Pruner

My Mom and Dad passed one to me upon their passing. Got the brand and model from that one and order the new one. To my surprise the new one is just like the old one. A prized possession!

Just bought my second pair of these - I love them! They are the most comfortable to use of all pruners I've had over the years. They stay sharp - just do take care of them. My last pair is about 12 years old - and if I could locate a replacement blade I wouldn't have needed this pair. (I have just written to Saboten to find out where to get such a blade). But now I'm glad to have two.Bright orange so you can find them wherever you set them down. Hanging cord for garage or shed hook. Easy to slip in most of my pockets while gardening. Perfect cut on your first clip, no mashed stems!These may cost a bit more than others, but the longevity and high quality are so worth it.

Saboten pruners are hard to find in the US. I have one of the smaller ones I bought 20-30 years ago and it’s still sharp. Since it’s getting a bit elderly I started looking for a replacement and finally found one on amazon. It’s perfect. Since I saw this heavier-duty one available I bought it as well. It’s wonderful. This brand has held up better than any of my Felco pruners and are easier on the hands.

Wonderful trimmer which requires less pressure. Stays sharp for years. My trouble is misplacing them. That's why I keep several.

I love this Pruner. It is little expensive but it last a long time. I lost my first one that I bought in 2012.

Works great, easy to operate with one hand, has a wrist strap im not crazy about but youCould take it off, the pruner was very sharp too.It has a lock that can be operated with your thumb..

So far so good. Used only one month but seems sturdy and good quality.
