Great bracelet and sturdy

I buy a lot of Alex and Ani but this one I purchased as a gift for someone and she loved it! Came with a nice little description of the meaning of the bracelet.

My new daughter-in law absolutely loved this. It was a perfect token to giver on her wedding day. I told her she certainly didn't need to wear it since her jewelry was already picked out but she adored this bracelet and added it to wedding day look.

This arrived in a simple plastic bag with a white card. I appreciate not spending money on a fancy package when you're buying for yourself, but if you're gifting you might want to repackage to make it more giftable.This is my first experience with Alex and Ani so I wasn't really sure what to expect and ordered a couple different styles. I have larger than normal hands (I am 5'11" with man sized hands) so it was a bit of a struggle getting it on. Once on, I had to squeeze it back to tighten it up, but it worked.The metal has a matte finish and due to the squeezing mine isn't really round. The charms are well made and to my surprise the O rings are soldered so they can't pull open and be lost. NICE! I have worn this several weeks now, not even removing it to swim, and the finish looks like the day I put it on.This is lightweight and I enjoy hearing the occasional tinging of the charms when they hit together. Given the ability to purchase different styles, I am thinking these would be great little Christmas gifts and am going to be ordering more!

This bracelet is quite pretty. It is a matte silver color, although the card included states it's made with Coppure, "a proprietary blend of elements forged from the purest metals." This works for everyday wear, and can be paired with a nicer outfit too.The main charm is the Path of Life symbol. The back says "I am exactly where I need to be" with "Alex and Ani" printed below itThe 3 smaller charms are: (front/back)(+) energy / Alex and AniCoppure symbol / Recycle symbolHeart American flag / Alex and Ani US D498,157The charms make a pleasant, light clinking sound. Not as loud as car keys, but enough to remind me they are there. I love it.I found it a little odd that this bracelet just came in a plastic bag. No box, not even a velvet jewelry bag. I do have to admit, though, I don't really ever use the box, so maybe this is better.This is a pretty sturdy bracelet. The metal is thick. Even with taking it on and off, and adjusting the width, it doesn't feel like I'm going to warp or bend the metal. The loops are tight enough on the adjustable part, that I'm not afraid anything will fall off. And the loops for the charms are soldered closed.This actually seems to be holding up to my baby pulling on it and playing with it. One of the few pieces of jewelry I can currently wear without fear of baby breaking it! That alone makes it worth it for a mom who still wants to wear pretty things!
