You get what you pay for.
Quality is reflected in the price. I'm not fond of how the stop/lock system works on the single button. In any case, I would not recommend this leash if you walk your dog a lot. I walk my 25# dog over an hour per day and after the first week I lost the flashlight, it just fell off somewhere and I couldn't find it. After the second week, the lock release stopped working so I had to stick my finger into the hole on top (which is now visible thanks to a lack of flashlight) to release the lock. After the third week, the lock broke off completely and rattled around inside until I had to take the body apart. I wouldn't have worried about it rattling around inside, but the day after that broke the leash got bound so I had to take it apart. Bottom line: very disappointed, lower quality than I expected, and would definitely never purchase again, and wouldn't even recommend to my worst enemy.*EDITED*12 hours after I left this review it died. The spring inside that makes it retract broke. Rating lowered from 2 stars to 1 star.

Flimsy
This leash is a good idea. Having the flashlight and bags attached. The flashlight never worked regularly on a walk. I was left out in the dark by this leash on easy more then one occasion. I did like the bag holder. Easy to use. Overall this feels flimsy, I wouldn't use with a dog who pulls...... we are sending it back as we have to carry a separate flashlight when we use this leash.

Very efficient for walking our dog at night!
We used to have to carry a separate flashlight when we took the dog out and this makes it very simple, all in one piece! Great idea!

Convenient but bulky...tape binds sometimes
Handy to have light/bags/leash all in a single unit. But it is bulky. I bought two and one of them doesn't retract well consistently. The tape style leash binds up if your dog is active. My wife quit using them out of frustration.

Proceed With Caution
The product did not last me more than a month. The button to "lock" and "unlock" the leash malfunctioned and now the leash just extends as far as the dog will take it.Contacted seller but did not hear back on the "lifetime guarantee". I love this item... Extremely convenient... It lost a star bc mine jammed and wouldn't allow retraction but I was given immediate customer care and a replacement is on its way...

Convenient.
Convenient with light and bags attached. Unfortunately, the leash tends to jam. Can be released, but a struggle.

Nice idea but you get what you pay for.
Great concept but the quality of build is very poor. The click lock jammed in the first week on one of the two I purchased keeping the leash at four feet. I bought a Flexi brand instead. It's more money but built so much better.
