Bird Brain Sequin Glass Gazing Ball, Yellow & Blue

I received my gazing ball in good time and in good condition but my only complaint is that it doesn't look anything like the picture shown. Not as detailed and pretty. I got a good price so that was good but sure was disappointed in the look. I would not order from this company again. The picture of the gazing ball should have been updated in the product information even if it was a discontinued item.

I love a cracked glass gazing ball, and this color is just beautiful. While it's says "blue/green", it's more of a dark purple, just like the picture (I had been worried that the pictures didn't match their text, but they do). I only wish it came in an 8-inch size instead. These kickball-sized gazing globes are just a bit large for my taste.I see some reviews about "cork" and I'm confused. I don't see any "cork" on this ball. One reviewer says that the glass bits glued to the cork all fell off and she's left with nothing but a smooth glass ball. I hope that doesn't happen to this one---if it does, I'll have to update this review accordingly.

Thankfully Amazon has an excellent customer service and return policy. I received two of these and both were broken. With the first one the stem was broken off and I cut my hand on the broken glass. The other one was broken down the back and there ware shards of broken glass in the box in addition to a fine glass dust. It was horrible to clean. I would caution all to be careful if they order this item. It could be dangerous opening the box.

I was looking forward to this item because the colors would work well with what my gardening design was. However in the photo it looked as if it had lots of greens but in fact the background color is a rust looking brown and even in the sunshine it didn't come close to my expectations.

I debated for a long time , after reading all of the reviews, as to whether I should purchase this gazing ball at amazon. So glad I took the chance. It was delivered quickly and in one piece. Now it's been in the garden for a few weeks and it's holding up great to the elements. Love the way it casts colors all around it. Now I'm going to try putting a string of lights in it, to see how it looks at night. LOVE shopping with amazon!

I thought I would review this because I'm about to order another one as a gift and read several negative reviews. In March, I bought two of these for my garden and they have beautifully survived heavy rains and scorching southern sunshine. I do plan to bring them in if the temperature drops this winter but so far I have nothing but good things to say about the quality and beauty of these gazing balls.

I was disappointed that outside of ball was coming loose in parts, but used anyway, because it was too delicate to send back.

I wish I could have rated no star.I tried twice to have this Gazing ball sent to me.On both occassions it arrived improperly packed and broken!!!I don't understand how you would send glass though the mail without wrapping it.
