Moerman 22100 Pro Grabber, Anodized Aluminum with Pivoting Soft Grip Jaws, 36"

When I first got this, I was fairly impressed. I don't have to use it often, but when I did, it worked great. That is, until ...Was sitting in my chair and dropped an empty soda container on the floor. When I reached for my graqbber, it fell over and landed on the floor. I picked it up and reached with it for the soda can. I squeezed the trigger and nothing happened. The pull rods on the inside had come unhitched and the grabber would not close. Upon closer inspection I noticed that although th cable itself from the trigger was metal, the hardware that attached the cable to the jaws was just soft plastic. Since these are rivetted together, there is no way to get them open to make a repair. I'm going to try to find my rteceipt and send them back and get something different. Too bad, because they aren't exactly cheap.

This is only an inch or so longer than the RMS 32”. It also appears more cheaply made. Trigger is wobbly, not as solid as RMS brand. I only bought this because i thought it was longer.

I needed a little longer reacher because I'm 5'10". This is just perfect. Sturdy and easy to use. Love the handle. Thank you!

This works very well either getting something on the floor or from a cabinet. I did find cans to be a bit tricky at first but it does hold the weight if you gt the grabber around the can. I would recommend it to anyone whose mobility is limited for reaching. I also like that it can be used to get things that fall behind something, like the dryer.

This is my second Moerman 22100 grabber. I loved the first one so much, I ordered another. This way I have one upstairs and one downstairs (it always seemed to be on the floor I wasn't so two are handy). I love that it doesn't have the little circle ends that screw on and fall off all the time.

I bought this just after my knee replacement surgery. Although I didn't need to pick up too many things it was used mostly to help move some covers/blankets over my continuous motion machine. My foot would get really cold if it wasn't covered. This worked like a charm.

I bought this to take the Christmas lights off the house without the ladder and it worked great. The gripper part can pick up small items easily and the overall item is well made. We use it all the time now for little jobs that need a far reach.
