I was ordering some parts for a strap I planned to make when I came across this item at a price much below what some vendors were asking for similar items so I decided to take a chance and was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The strap is well done and the padded shoulder piece cushions the strap over the shoulder and it also contains a zipped pocket that will hold my spare Sony battery and a couple memory cards. The snap is well made and polished and has a safety lock. The attachment plate to the camera is a unique feature in that it provides a firm attachment to the camera at the tripod socket but it is attached by a bolt that screws in and also has a socket in the fitting so a tripod or Manfrotto quick release plate can also be attached and left on the camera. So, you can use this strap and a tripod at the same time. I find it easy to use and adjust; I like it rather short so the camera rides high on my left side but it can hang down on the hip if you desire.

I got this today and was disappointed with the latch that secures the mount and tripod adapter. The pad does not stay put and is always out of position. I bought this and was a little skeptical because of the low price. Surprisingly, the strap is absolutely well built. I totally love it. I can put my extra memory cards in the zipper pocket. The wide shoulder pad spreads the camera weight very well. The threaded screw connects to the bottom of the camera and holds really well. It didn't come loose after using it while shooting all day. I'm thinking of ordering a second one as a back up.

I took a gamble on this strap and have used it several times hiking. I can go farther without shoulder or neck pain carrying a Nikon d3200 with a 300mm lens. Good quality and comfortable.
