this came to me damaged, but i decided it didn't matter. The top was caved in, it seems like it was sat on, but i was using it for something that it doesn't matter how it looks, so decided not to bother returning it. its nice except for that.

Who has a tiny space with not enough storage? I have a tiny space with not enough storage. Seriously though, I have a tiny apartment and look at pictures of tiny houses for storage inspiration and solutions without the actual "wow, I love living in a tiny closet" vibe that all these couples living in tiny houses seem to have. Anyway, I eventually came across the idea of the folding storage ottoman and I absolutely fell in love with it. First off, it's so easy to move around because it flattens down to a few inches. I had forgotten what I had ordered when I received this ottoman in the mail because the box is a super flat square but it contained an awesome, sturdy ottoman. I picked this one in particular because: 1. the price was a lot better than a lot of other ones I've come across. 2. The top is flat and most ottomans I came across have buttons sewn into the tops or seams sewn in purely for aesthetics and I prefer the sleek, clean look (not to mention, with a flat top, I can put down a try and have it sit perfectly even on it instead of tipping around on an ottoman with a design) and 3. Because it's a leather that actually looks like leather in the picture and I am happy to say that it looks even better in person. It definitely looks like a real cow was sacrificed for it (but it wasn't!). This thing takes two seconds to set up. You pop open the "chamber", push a square "floor" that comes with it to the bottom to retain its shape, and then pop on the top to the body. Took me two seconds to completion and it didn't budge an inch when I sat down on it. Seriously, this thing feels sturdier than my office chair. The top of it has a bit of a foam to it, but it's sturdy enough you feel like you're in a comfy chair. I am putting extra towels and sheets that were taking up badly needed space in my dresser's drawers and I still have maybe a couple of inches from hitting the top - cubic space is well, quite spacious. I can't say anything bad about this except I checked this seller and they don't sell longer ones! I would totally buy a longer folding ottoman from this brand now that I know what their products are like. I received this ottoman at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

When I first saw this I wasn't sure how well it was going to stand up since it folds up and then pops up when you are ready to use this, I thought it might be a bit flimsy but it is actually pretty sturdy, super easy to unfold and it looks great. I currently have five blankets folded up and stored inside of this for when the weather gets a little colder, it will be nice to have blankets at the ready in the living room but that are out of sight out of mind. The faux leather matches perfectly with the faux leather lazy boy I have in my living room and my black sofa so this is perfect. It is pretty comfortable on my feet/legs and it is just the right height to give you a comfortable position to be in.
