research before you buy
this is a good product. I like the style too.The problem is I am a 260 lbs guy. When I stepped on middle of the step, it is good. But when I step on edge on either sides, it is not as stable. So it might work better for ladies or guy under 200 bs.if you are heavy built, buy something more stable and will not shake.

Buyer beware!
Did not suit our needs, therefore, I started the return process only to find out… If you slide it into the receiver, that's considered installed. They also want pictures of the new one, as we bought two. In addition, they are not all that high quality for the price. Very disappointed. Conventionally great idea. Thats where that stops.

???
I have a 2022 Honda Ridgeline. The step was slightly too large to fit in the receiver. Don’t know whether the truck or step fails meet the 2” specification. I’m returning it. Update, my towing ball fits fine, so it’s the step that is at fault.

Safety
Width and depth could be greater. Secondly a mechanism to lock it in the step position.

Spring system weak
Excellent concept but thr spring pushes on a hollow roll pin. It bent the 2nd day so it no longer springs back up.
