Amazing as always
Jaimie Admans has done it again!!A absolutely lovely light happy read from start to finish, the characters was all so loveable (apart from Harrison) and the storyline was so heart warming.Jaimies imagination when writing is superb and the way she describes what's happening throughout the book I can honestly picture it like a movie... again another book I would read over again!Well done Jaimie. Counting down the days to the next!

Highly enjoyable read
Jaimie Admans always creates books that can only be described as like modern day fairy tales. Each has magical and ‘special’ feel to them that leave me feeling content and happy. The Wishing Tree Beside the Shore is another great example of this, I enjoyed it from start to finish. It was a wonderful mix of comedy, romance, drama and did have an element of magic. It is an age old romance trope; lost love, friends to lovers and revisiting those feelings after a time apart. It’s just what you need right now.Felicity finds herself having to head back to the community she’s worked hard to avoid. Whilst happy to see her family, there is someone she definitely wants to avoid at all costs. Her boss has sent her there to derail a local protest, but who should just happen to be leading it – you guessed it, her former best friend and love of her life. Old memories resurface, friendships are rebuilt and that tree is intent on granting wishes. Will Felicity’s wishes come true or is everything heading for disaster?Felicity isn’t instantly likeable, although I understand her feeling a bit awkward about what happened, her reaction seems a bit excessive in my opinion. The longer she is back home, the more I grew to like her and understand her some more. I loved her relationship with the care home residents as well as Ryan.Look out for the sheep – her name and antics are really funny.I couldn’t put this one down, thoroughly enjoying it and seeing what would happen to such a unique sounding tree as well as our characters.I really recommend for a enjoyable read this summer.

A beautiful community driven sea side town you will love
The wishing tree beside the shoreYet again jaimie takes us on a journey this time to the seaside where fliss is part of a heartless company trying to buy land to build hotels on she realises the company are targeting her hometown and is sent undercover to shut down the protestorsI really love this book I love the community feeling and the fact everyone wants to keep the tree because of how special it is. I also really loved fliss and Ryan as always I fall in love with her men no one has topped James yet though :) Ryan is hard working and has loved fliss for years and it's so sweet when they help the community keep the tree and realise how they feel.Oh and thank you for the 90s throwbacks I loved and knew every reference you made and it made me nostalgic.5 stars as always

Feel good escapism
Get past the first chapter, which nearly made me delete it, and it's a fun piece of feel good escapism.

Good read
I enjoyed the storyline and the great characters, the setting was gorgeous, who doesn’t love the Gower Peninsula?Only thing stopping the five stars was Fee’s constant, repetitive agonising.

The Wishing Tree beside the shore
I mostly enjoyed this book but it did seem to go on and on, and for a while seemingly went nowhere. I kept thinking "come on, tell him your lies, and get on with it." But she couldn't ever do it. I guess she did in the end but I'm not quite through with it yet. I would like if it was a little faster paced.

Beautiful Story
I really enjoyed this happy ever after, even though it is a long time after, story. The characters were perfect, some funny, others sad but a good happy story. I loved the Enid Blyton Wishing Tree books as a child & even many years later often wish there really was a Wishing Tree nearby. I’ll try more books by this author. This one had no sex or bad language so I hope the rest follow the same pattern.

A Lovely Romance.
When I started reading it took awhile to really get into the characters and the story. Don’t give up if the same happens to you. The wait is definitely worth it. The characters are a mixture of anyone you’ve ever met and the storyline is not the usual “ boy meets girl.” There is a lot of humor in the pages of the delightful romance.

A bit slow and predictable
I love all books by this author...in fact, I've bought them of all. But this book is the only one I haven't finished yet because, so far, it's slow and predictable. Also, for some reason, this author has a bit of a predilection to throw in joking about male anatomy...it's not in every book and it adds absolutely nothing to the stories, which are good enough to stand on their own, so I wish she didn't bother!
