Dorman 76830 Start Stop Button Compatible with Select Models

I had to push the starter button several times to get my car to start or shut off. Figured I would try the cheap fix to see if it was the starter button and not something else. It turned out to be the button and this turned-out to be the perfect replacement part, my car starts, and turns off with one push of the button.

This part did not work. I get the "Damaged Key" message.

I am always one that checks reviews. Problem is no one ever adds their car or many details. I am different. I bought this for my 2015 Chrysler town and county. Seen a few people say it wouldn't work. Well I'm happy to inform you it does. Been using it for about 2 months now. So easy to put in as well. You know how you put the key in the ignition? You do the same with the button. Just push it into place and there you go. You do have to have the remote start already. If your display ever says push break and push button to start on your little screen then you probably have it. Also don't forget to push the break then the button or it won't start lol. Just the accessories come on. Thought something was wrong with my van till my son in the back seat said mom read the directions and pointed to my dash that clearly said push break and press button to start. We love the button. You will to.

It’s definitely less expensive than the oem one, and it kinda sticks when you push it. However it may be partially because of the product, and also because my car has super high miles. I Will be buying oem to see for sure and will update review

The first one I received was broken in the package. The second one I received worked for three starts, broke in the ignition switch and had to be dug out with a knife. Afterwards it took an hour of “key fob error” messages before my car would start. Threw it away and didnt go through the hassle of getting a refund.

2013 Jeep GC - Works perfectly so far! Was tired of using my finger to start the car when I was feeling too lazy to fish out my keys. Dealer told me this product didn't exist when I asked...told me it wouldnt work when I ordered it right in front of their Parts Dept but it works great! Slightest little wiggle/space around button but not a problem at all because it allows you to remove easier if you do want to start using the key again... no threat of falling out!

Highly recommended, it solve the problem. Key fob was not recognized periodically, but this new product solve the problem, so far so good.
