Wonderful speaker and a nice looking clock!
I was looking for speaker for my PC and this work perfectly! It looks very nice and the charging port at the back is a bonus! The sound quality was way better than I expected with a powerful bass. Some people in the comment complained about having static noise from the speaker, but that did not happen to me. Pairing with phone was extra easy with the NFC pairing. The clock aspect of it works just fine too. You can switch between 12/24 hr mode, but the date can only be in DD*MM format (sorry US!). Setting of the time was a bit tricky to me tho. Maybe it just because I never bought a digital clock before? At this price point you may expect there is an app you can set your time and alarm for it but nope! It's all done by the buttons at the back.Overall, I think this is more of a great speaker than a clock, and definitely not a smart clock. If you are like me, looking for a decent speaker which also happens to be double as a clock (in my case it even double as a monitor riser!), this is the perfect choice! But if you are really REALLY looking for a clock, I think you can easily find something less bulky and has more function to it.

Not bad BUT......
I ordered this to replace a Phillips Bluetooth clock that I used with my Samsung S4 until I switched to the HTC One M8 which has a reversed charging port which in turn faced my phone backwards while being docked in the top of the clock. I wanted something with Bluetooth that was flat on the top and had a charging port in the back so if I ever switched phones again ( which I will ) I wouldn't have to buy a new clock again. I picked the GOGroove first over the one which looks just like this one, The Soundbot SB1010 which is also here on Amazon. The reviews on the Gogroove were better so I gave that a chance first. I ended up returning it and getting the Soundbot SB1010 and heres why..... The Go groove and the Soundbot both have the same type of front display which both have time and date on the front, The Soundbot also has the room temp. as well. That was huge for me. I can live without the date on my clock but having the temp is a huge PLUS for me. Our bedroom gets really hot in the summer so its great to see the actual temp if I wake up in the middle of the night. The Gogroove has a 1 amp charger port in the back which is fine for a slow charge over night but the Soundbot has a 2.1 amp charger port in the back which means you can charge a tablet as well, plus it will charge your phone faster as well, at least it does mine. The both sounded pretty damn good. I think the Gogrove actually sounded a bit louder but was a bit distorted at full volume. I only use the bluetooth and speakers in my alarm clock just for waking up. I use Pandora and the Alarm Clock Extreme App to wake me up with LOUD music. Yes I'm a VERY HARD sleeper. It take a lot to wake me up but a little Nine Inch Nails in the am usually does the trick. The main reason why I returned the Gogroove was I was having problems with it dropping bluetooth and then reconnecting in the middle of the night. Let me tell you its a really loud BEEP when it connects and disconnects like that. I wasn't sure if it was my phone disconnection or the Gogrove but ever since I've received the Soundbot I haven't had a problem with bluetooth. The Gogroove also has a NFC connection as well as Bluetooth. I synced my phone with NFC and it worked good but I really don't see this being an added feature thats useful ? If anyone else can explain why you would need NFC as well as bluetooth please let me know. NFC works great for a lot of things but an alarm clock? The Soundbot was also a little smaller as well, which actually made me happy since my night stand is always filled with stuff. Not that much smaller though, maybe a inch or two at the most but hey as my wife says "every inch counts" They were both very good but the temp sensor in the Soundbot sold me the most. Love my new Alarm clock. Thank you Amazon as always.

Agradable compra.
Hasta el momento no me ha dado ningún problema y funciona bien. Solo tuvo un detalle con la pantalla LED pero al tocarla volvió a funcionar sin problema. La estética es buena.
