This is the best unit I've bought and there's a few reasons to ...
I've owned several other FM transmitters in the past, with and without bluetooth connection to my phone. This is the best unit I've bought and there's a few reasons to that.First of all, it feels really well built. The buttons work nicely, the plastic in the unit feels sturdy and the overall build quality just feels like a premium product.Second, the bluetooth works perfectly. The play/pause and next/previous song buttons work with all media players I've tried on my phone, include Spotify, on an Android and iOS device. You can easily connect a different device to the unit by just long pressing the call button, which is really handy as you can just ask a friend to connect to your bluetooth player and having him playing a song, or using different devices of your own.Last but not least, the sound quality is really good for a FM transmitter, which are known for not having the best of the qualities. When I first bought it the bass sounded really distorted, but this was easily fixed by pressing the central button and then lowering the volume down from 30 (the maximum) to around 25. This way it doesn't distort at all.

I've noticed at least a couple of people have had the same issue as us. The first 2 or 3 times the device worked well we thought the sound and useability was excellent. Then it became extremely difficult to remove the device from the 12V socket (Volvo V70) - had to exert extreme force - also the 12V fuse had blown. Looks like the part that inserts into the 12v socket had something missing/broken causing the issues. Not going to insert it again - will ask for refund.

I'm a bit disappointed
This product does what it says, but it I'm not very satisfied with the sound quality. Very often is fuzzy even though the radio frequency is correct and empty from other radio stations. The phone call audio is very low, and also people on the other side told me they had difficulties hearing me. Beside that the 12V jack is a bit loose in the socket and if I touch it when I change gear for example it loses power supply and consequentially also the Bluetooth connection. Of course this last one depends where you have the the 12v socket in your car, mine is under the hand brake, close to the gear stick, so it's very easy to touch the GOGroove flexSmart X2 when I change to reverse or I stop/start pulling/pushing the hand brake. So I haven't tried other Bluetooth FM transmitters, but I know this isn't the cheapest nor the nicest looking and I spent a bit more hoping it would have performed better.I'm a bit disappointed.

Works great in terms of it's bluetooth capabilities
Works great in terms of it's bluetooth capabilities, phone calls, and music playback.Microphone quality really is superb, can't fault it. My only gripe with this product is that it only goes down to frequency 88.1, not a deal breaker but round by me the clearest channels are around 87.5

Sound quality still not great But better than cheaper ones.
For a radio transmitter this is the best sound quality I've experienced-honestly though it still doesn't go loud enough for me but it is substantially better than the cheaper ones I've tried before but I still find myself having to burn CDs for music I really like. I do like to listen to my music loud though but when I'm using this my volume is constantly on max and I still want it to go louder. Things did improve when I switched to iPhone from Galaxy s3 but still doesn't go loud enough for me. It is fine for hands free and podcasts/audiobooks though.I don't know why these devices don't sound as good as normal radio/cd, I mean obviously radio 1 sounds great but what do I know. When I use wire it is the same so it is the process of sending radio rather than the Bluetooth. It is about half the volume of my normal car stereo and with the reduced sound quality that that brings.
