DO NOT OPEN THE R.O. FLUSH VALVE AT THE TOP OF THE FILTER HOUSING!!!!
Works pretty good so far.And the water tastes super clean. It tastes as clean as the Reverse Osmosis filtered water from the supermarket.Everything was pretty easy to install with the quick connect fittings. There are 4 hoses in total, and all the hoses are color coded, so you could tell which hose goes where. If you don't already have a spot where you can stick the drain-hose, then you will need a drill to connect the drain-hose to the drain pipe. The valve for the tank was leaking, and when I tried to tighten it, the valve broke. So I highly recommend getting some Teflon tape, and don't over-tighten it.I had to go to Home Depot to find another 3/8 valve with a quick connect fitting, which cost me 15 dollars. The tank valve leaking, and breaking was my own fault for not using Teflon tape, and over-tightening it.Also the washer for the water spigot was too small for the hose opening on my sink. So you're going to need a big washer. I just used the old fittings from my old sink-hose.When you turn the system on DO NOT OPEN THE R.O. FLUSH VALVE AT THE TOP OF THE FILTER HOUSING!!!!I thought the valve at the top of the filter housing was to turn the system on, but no, it's to flush the R.O. Membrane/filter.It doesn't say it anywhere in the manual, and I had to learn about it from reading the comments.I would give this system 5 stars if it wasn't for the washer for the spigot being the wrong size, and nothing in the instruction manual telling you about the R.O. Flush Valve.Overall, I give this product a 4 out of 5.++++++ UPDATEI've had this unit for 16 months and it is still going strong. I use it almost every single day.Changed the filters twice, and still have extra filters for the next six months. 30 dollars for a year's worth of filters for 2ppm water is a great value in my opinion. And still no leaks or malfunctions.Worth it. 10 out of 10.Also if the unit is making noise, it's from the vibration from the hoses being kinked. Just straighten them out, and you will be fine...

There is something wrong with this water filtration system. Update - Prepare for flooding.
Update 05/02/2020 - can I give this less than one star? I finally got this system to work after replacing almost the entire system with parts from a Premier water filtration company. The bugs aren't completely worked out however. On the most recent filter change I noticed that the bottoms of the filter housings are cracking. Those are typically supposed to be replaced every five years. These made it three years and I'm not confident they will make it another six months before rupturing and flooding my kitchen. Steer clear of this water filter system.I owned and operated a similar system for many years with no trouble. This one has had issues from the initial installation. The automatic shutoff has always had a problem that randomly causes a high pitched noise. There is apparently a pressure differential issue in the system that causes the automatic shutoff to flutter, which causes the noise. The incoming water pressure is within spec, so the trouble is somewhere in this water system. When the system is set up and working, it does filter water, initially. Unfortunately the water quality degrades rapidly with this system. At the time of install, my incoming (tap) water read 773 on my TDS meter and the output from this system read 53 on the same meter. After approximately six months of filtration the water flavor significantly degraded and ice made from the filtered water turned cloudy. The TDS meter read 798 for incoming (tap) water and 397 at the output of the reverse osmosis system. The sediment and charcoal filters did not look significantly contaminated and there was no visible damage or degradation to the membrane. I changed all of the original filters and the membrane to a brand I have used before at that time. The output water registered 59 on my TDS meter. After another six months the ice has gone cloudy and the water tastes similar to tap water again. The tap water registers 735 on my TDS meter and the output from this reverse osmosis system reads 473. Again, the pre-filters do not look significantly contaminated and the membrane has no visible degradation. Something about this water system is just not working properly.

Minor issues, Major Concern
This unit is ok for the value. It has some questions that the seller needs to think about. I have waited to review this because I wanted to see if it was as good as it showed. The price is Ok for the unit and on average is affordable for the light to mid-level use. The unit arrived and it had a minor to issue. There was a broken elbow on the unit because of poor packaging. I had the correct elbow on hand and fixed that. Need to ensure that your packaging is better and that all elbows are protected. Now the major concern. Why do you have a shut-off valve on the waste water line? No system that I have owned in the past or any system out there has a shut-off on the waste water line. I know that with the valve closed the water tastes like the water I am trying to filter, and the TDS is way out of site, worse that my reading for the unfiltered water. Opened the valve, and the taste has improved, and the TDS is somewhat lower. You the manufacture had better rethink that issue. You do not want waste water in the drinking water do you?Having said all of that, you the buyer should think about what I have just said about the waste water.Overall, because of the issues I have stated, I can not in good faith, rate this unit higher than 4. I know it should be lower, but, the cost, and installation ease, that for me makes it a 4.
