101 Jazz Songs for Alto Sax

Not a bad book of Jazz Standards
Not a bad set of standards. Though I would add that this is not a book that your guitar playing friends will be able to sit with you and play as they chords shown are transposed for Eb instrumentation (e.g. Alto Saxophone), and are not the chords the guitarist would actually play. So if you're looking to buy something you and someone else can play along with you're out of luck. You will need to transpose the chords yourself, the guitarist use a capo, or I guess, buy the equivalent guitar book? I no longer have Prime so the delivery was extremely slow, it took well over a week, as are all my remaining orders with Amazon since I cancelled my prime subscription.

A good collection
I was very pleased with this. Even though I have only been learning the sax for a couple of months I can struggle through some of the pieces fairly well, although usually slowly, and am no longer afraid of some of the key signatures. Altogether a good collection of standards for those of us who are a bit older ( I'm eighty-one ).

A great selection of tunes that are accessible for those wanting to build their confidence and repertoire as a musician.
A good selection of jazz tunes that are familiar to me. I have been playing for 4 years and find many of the arrangements are straight forward for me to play. I am even beginning to sound fluent with some of the songs. I am looking forward to tackling those that are less familiar. I bought this having enjoyed playing tunes from the 101 Broadway Song book. Both have helped to build my confidence in reading music and playing the alto sax.

Jazz for all
This book is an excellent one. An excellent range of popular jazz tunes. I enjoyed playing them.

A essential book
A great book I feel I will be working through for years. A load of classics/ Fly Me To The Moon/Autumn Leaves/Misty. So many great songs.
