Full of Drama!!
Miss Dantone really blew me away with Ignited, so I had pretty high expectations for its sequel. I am extremely pleased to say that she did not disappoint!! Sacrificed was just as good, if not better than the first!Kris is a pretty no-nonsense girl that somehow manages to get herself involved in a lot of drama. At times, I think she may just be a drama magnet. Somehow, not one...not two...but three, yes three, guys waiting in the wings. So, obviously there is quite a bit of drama in this book, which, of course makes it super interesting! In addition to the boy drama Kris faces, there is also the drama that goes along with being what she is. Along with this revelation, new twists and turns keep coming up. I really love where Dantone is taking the story, it's really exciting! So far, I love this story and cannot wait to read book 3!!

Can't wait to read the next book...
Can't wait to read what happens next! In this book we get more back story and more romance. You can't help but love Alec and Nathan both. The only real issue I had was I kinda felt sorry for Micah and while he may have been annoying she was a b*tch to him almost all the time. Kris started getting on my nerves anytime Micah was around.I could have understood it if he would have done something terrible or was a jerk all the time but he didn't and he wasn't. It brought the tone of the book down When she turned shrew just because Micah was a annoying her for breathing. We all have to deal with annoying people but how we deal with them makes us either a better person or not. I'm going to give the author the benefit of doubt and say she was trying to make it an instinctive dislike because of who she was maybe and just overshot it. Either way it was a great book and an enjoyable read!

Let Me Wanting More
Kris continues in this book to deal with her demons and the attentions of Micah, Alec and Nathan. The Skotadi want her and the Kala want her dead and all she wants is to be herself and make her own decision about her life and love. Desni Dantone writes a heartrending story of this girl seeking the truth about who she is and who she will become. It is filled with passion and intrigue and it concludes with a choice no one would have expected her to make. It is a hard book to put down and a read that will leave you begging for more. Bravo Desni Dantone!

Where is the next book?
This is a very likeable series and somehow able to hold a sense of freshness when many other books can't in a series. Micah adds some very good tension, enough for me to want to read more. The book really makes us think about trust and truth and about power and how it is so easy to misuse. However this was also a disappointment as the book actually tells us at the end the third one in the series is coming out in 2014 and the fifth in 2015 but nothing appears there, at least not at this stage which is ironic. This is a very readable YA and in a marketplace overflowing with not so good books it seems strange that we are still waiting for one that is good.Looking forward to the next one anyway!

A great series
I really enjoyed these books and I can't wait for the next one in the series. Every page kept me on the edge of my seat. I think one of the main things I love about Kris is that you can easily relate to her. She seems like a real person. The crying, mood swings, and blushing did not bother me in the slightest. She is a teenage girl after all, and all she wants is a regular teenage life. I really felt for her and I hope they are able to turn her Kala. As for Nathan.... I really liked his character but I don't feel much of a connection to him. I feel like since Kris has pretty much always idolized Nathan and has realized she's in love with him she won't even give Micah a chance or second thought. I think she feels like it wouldn't be true love but just something she's being forced into... kind of like her not having much choice in turning evil. However, there is something about Micah that rubs me the wrong way. I just can't pick a team yet. I need another book to decide. Haha. In the next book I really hope Alec finds someone and finds closure. I adore his character. I also want to see more of Callie and for the author to develop her character a bit more. I would definitely recommend this series.

Better than the first
This book is definitely better than the first one, but more suspenseful. You get a few new characters, and few new friendships.Kris is trying so hard to fight off the evil trying to consume her, and Nathan is there to help her every step of the way.Not only is she fighting evil, she's also having to fight off the guys in her life who are head over hills in love with her. This girl just can't seem to catch a break.Although I like the idea of Kris and Nathan, it would be nice to see a romance between her and Alex.

Love this series so far
Love this series so far! Can't wait for the next two!! And I REALLY hope we see more romance between Nathan and Kris. I also hope Alec finds someone in the next two books..maybe Callie? 😀. I love Alec he's one of my favs and deserves to be happy. I highly recommend this series. I'm actually pretty surprised there's not more reviews. Hopefully book 3 comes out soon so I can stop stalking Desni Dantones Facebook for updates. I'm very impatient. I should never read series until there completed. Oh well. 😀

Could not put the book down.
I chose the rating because the writer kept me drawn in the entire time. My favorite part of the book is when she left to stay with Alex. Spell check on kindle won't let me spell his name right. Anyway. It was the right thing to do. I think she should just not be with anyone at the time so she don't hurt anyone. I hope the writer keeps up a good story. I stayed up till 3:30am reading the events at the end. No way no matter how tired I had to find out if they were going to be okay.

Sequel was a bit clunky
Second book was more unwieldy in terms of plot developments than the first one. Ends on a positive. Feel bad for Alec, but hopefully he'll get over Kris. Micah for all his he is meant to save the world, he's been portrayed as rather a brat. Useful, but a brat nonetheless. Shall see if book 3 is an improvement.

The characters are brilliant and the chemistry is hot
Superb read! The characters are brilliant and the chemistry is hot! A great storyline with lots of action is exactly what I like and this ticks the boxes. I've not read Greek mythology fiction before but I've really enjoyed this and found the author explains everything very clearly.

Excited for the next one
I am liking this series this book furthers the journey that the main character is on and she is learning more about herself, on the way and little by little we find out the story is bigger than we thought originally. I enjoyed the unexpected trip and the developing relationships involved. Thumbs up like it
