Lonely Planet Germany: Perfect for exploring top sights and taking roads less travelled (Travel Guide)

In the digital Age the Lonely Planet Books are concise and to the point
The great thing about the Lonely Planet Books is they bring together a lot of great information in one place, as opposed to being scattered all over the internet. The German version gives some good insights in terms of suggested itineraries, where to go, highlights the must see or do things. As with any publication the where to eat guide can get quickly dated, but this is easily found on trip advisor. These guides have only got to give you a few ideas of extra things to see or do. This version also has some great history of the country and other background information to GermanyHighly recommended.

Great informative book
Like how areas are divided and highlighted so you can quickly find events. Wish it came in a spiral notebook design in larger print so you could add notes.

Nur die wichtigsten Highlights
Deutschland hätte mehr zu bieten. Eine Unterteilung in Nord/ Süd wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Hier sind nur die größten Sehenswürdigkeiten zusammengefasst.

Mostly good buy!
Some things were out dated, like Check Point Charlie is free for pictures now. Some of the places we went didn’t have great maps in the book.On the upside, some maps were great, tour suggestions were good and places to eat were good. There was a very specific lay out of things to do in Berlin if you are there 1,2,or 3 days including food, that was very helpful.
