We are a household of sufferers of asthma and allergies. We cannot have dogs or cats as pets because it is deadly to my wife. But, we did discover that to a degree we can have birds, so we adopted two cockatoos. We love them very much and have added a few smaller birds to our flock. But then my wife’s asthma began to flareup. Our doctor informed us that she has elements of bird flu in her lungs. The options were getting rid of the birds or threaten your own life.We have had air purifiers in this household for well over 15 years. We have tried rabbit air Honeywell and many others. Recently we’ve expanded and tried some of the newer units. We never thought we would find one better than the big round honeywells which we thought were awesome (they don’t make them anymore). We bought a smaller Colzer, slightly older model than this one. We did like it but decided to spend the extra money and pick up this particular model due to the volume of room and can handle and the extra bells and whistle‘s. Let me tell you this is the best purifier we own. Not exaggerating we have 9 air purifiers in our home total. I know that sounds crazy but even in the garage we have one running and our power bill has hardly gone up. But nothing does the job like this particular machine right here. really are very happy with it. I clean it very frequently just like all of the machines in the house and I can see it at work when I see the powderyWhite dust that is given off by the birds. This is why we brought this up. Birds, it turns out, twice off five times more dander than dogs or cats. That’s not even including the feathers! We love our birds, they are our other children with feathers. We could never give them up and we didn’t have to thanks to these machines. We like and dislike some of our other namebrand purifiers but this Colzer really stands out. If I cook and burn some oil the machine skyrockets to a 500 or in numbers in that range and I know the pollutants are high.The filter is easy to clean which is great considering I clean it often. Are use the brush attachment on our vacuum. The controls are very easy. It’s quiet mode is incredibly quiet and can go dark with no light. We happen to like the noise so we play it loud for white noise when we sleep. I do wish there was a way to turn off the lights on this machine when it’s on high mode. That’s probably the only complaint I have about the machine. Otherwise we have went to head and bought one more already. Really great machine. Truly increases the quality of the air in the home. Even better it’s cheaper than the Honeywell which is basically just a big blower, it has no bells and whistle‘s and while it’s a good machine it is smaller than this one and does not match up with the square footage that the Colzer Can clean.

In 2019 and 2020 I wanted to purchase air purifiers for my small cottage home. I, my caregiver, and 3 medium hair cats occupy the home. We wanted to cut down on hair, dander, dust and allergens in the air to obtain a healthier atmosphere. I went online to see reviews of air purifiers under $200. Consistently, all the Colzers overall had the highest reviews and best customer satisfaction. So Colzer it was going to be.I first purchased a medium size Colzer EPI-186 for my small computer room. Awesome, I was so pleased and decided to get a little larger purifier for my caregiver’s living space…a Colzer 142 C. Also, an awesome machine. Lastly (maybe not for long), I bought a birthday gift for my daughter in the form of a Colzer EPI-328. What was her assessment of the gift? AWESOME!Now what do we like about our Colzer purifiers? Basically, everything I can think of:-Quality build and material-Easy insertion of filter-Exceptional air purification: fresh-cool air, enhances air conditioner usage, removes dust; dander, pet hair, allergens as advertised. In other words, they perform extraordinarily.-We love the features: sleep mode (quietness), air quality light and sensors, timers for choosing hours of operation, light indicating change filter, fan speed desired, availability of replacement filters, nice intake air screens, and powerful fans.My large full tower computer used to pull in excessive amount of dust and hair, requiring constant opening and cleaning inside the case. Now, after a few months with my air purifier (Colzer EPI-186) there is very little dust anywhere. I’m handicapped and on an oxygen concentrator and the air purifier provides a more quality experience in that regard, too.I give the three Colzer air purifiers we’ve purchased all with an enthusiastic 5 star rating. They have enriched our life with a cleaner and healthier environment. We can’t ask for more than that from the products.

I bought this because i smoke marijuana in the house. It detects it right away and i like that it shows how many pollutants in the air. I leave it on auto, it pretty quiet. The only down side is that it takes 40 minutes to an hour to get back to normal after smoking. So it could circulate fast. But anyways for the price it does a great job.

I've been using this for a week, and I feel like it makes the air more fresh and cleaner. It is not so big, it's a nice looking unit, and fits well in any area we place it. It's very easy to use, and I like that the filter is reusable, you can clean it and insert it again, maybe until it looks too dirty then we'd need to replace it. We used this in the living room and it also cuts down on dust as our furniture is noticeably less dusty. The noise is a little bit loud when you set it to the max, but it doesn't bother me that much. So far it’s been worth every penny.

Just received the COLZER air purifier and used for the first time last night. So far so good. We let the purifier run 2 to 3 hours before bedtime on the automatic setting and switched to sleep mode for overnight. This machine is very quiet which my husband reminded me as his top priority when shopping machines. He is very particular when it comes to noise and he agreed after using that it is like a low whisper. Air seems to be cleaner. Both of us have seasonal allergies so we are hopeful that this machine will help. We will be using every day now. Also filters are easy to install and have a reasonable cost for replacement. Only negative as I write this is that the instruction booklet is lacking detail.
