Like The Unit !! - Need transparency on Specs. - Let's Bring The Cost Down i.e Shipping Costs
-note. (A fourth Star was added at the conclusion of this Review's, "Part 2" section.)Typos edited.Hello, all. This is the first installment of a product review in progress, "unsolicited" in nature. Before I getting into this review.. Reader's should know...This product isn't the only "lithium based" Power Supply, breaking out on the market today.New examples targeting 'stomp boxes are catching interest and taking shape. For the user with "nitch" applications., Some units handling entire Pedal-boards., Drawing 2 Amp loads or more. And it's all done on batteries. In this scenario..I recommend comparing the "Power Box Lithium" with the "RBO Power LT XL," for a comparative example of what's on the horizon. It's here and now.. I recently purchased the RBO, prior to the "Lithium Box."Does it contend well, along with being compact in size?Spec wise., I would have to say, "yes." It's an item with similar attributes. Purposely coupled with different features. This will include the unit's "price point." These kind of details are at the heart of access for all. I considered my needs, While, you can be your own judge. The Inclusion of a "Power Supply" theses days might get low billing. in a world full of power options., There are batteries, USB, power Banks, Portable Solar Panels..etc.Although, in this case., A charging Adapter has weight when it comes to powering rechargeable battery power packs, DC backup supply devices, etc. More on this point later.FYI..Recently, I submitted a review, beginning with the first installment for the RBO LT XL.. I will post a link here for your reference. Feel free to comment on, vote, post questions, answers, or just insights you feel "need to be heard."https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019CQX7CK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1First things first...Big Joe's, "Ergo-Portable, Pocket-sized, Rechargeable 9V DC Micro Power Box Supply aka., - "The Power Box Lithium" -"A welcomed addition to an emerging "Rechargeable DC Power Supply Market for Multiple Stomp Box Effects and similar devices."In this case., On-demand, 9-volt DC Power source topping out at a threshold of 500 mAhs. Just about anytime, anywhere.Plug-in up to eight individual stomp Boxes or similar units with compatible polarity concerns being addressed on the supplied daisychain cable harness and your in "9-volt city" without a standard 9-volt battery in sight. with claiming 10's of hours can be used before a recharge is needed. More on this later.Based on a YouTube vid reviewing the Power Box lithium..The reviewer stated he's able to conclude that he can run a fully charged, Power Box Lithium unit, for 10.2 hours under aconstant draw of 210 Milli-amps. Making the point that, "just because the effect(s) are plugged in., They only draw current when their turned on."With that reference..If I was drawing 420 Milli-amps., That would drop my time to 5.1 hours. That's running two items. One Jam Man Express Stereo Looper and a Korg PDX5 Millti-Effects Processor."Three stars" are granted. Why? For not failing me yet, up to this point. But seriously, What I mean to convey here is.." What I hope to experience without performance issues." This involves "normal intended use" in the near future. What set's this unit apart from most is the unit's footprint. Applications of use widen, due to remarkably tight dimensions. Then you add a digital readout for vitals., It certainly inspires some appeal, accessing usable info status. That's all positive. And of course., The Seller gets "Props" for great shipping time with the item, undisturbed, "AS NEW," and shipped in suitable packaging. All my observations with the physical are satisfied with complete visual inspection. It's unfortunate, However., This unit is in my view, over priced. It's either that, or a third party distributor inflating costs, and taking too much. This unit, as far as I know is produced in the U.S. and I do like buying American., While, within reason. But last I checked., The price has remained the same.Edit- The fallowing portion of this review is about the inflated shipping costs under my my focus. Part 2 of review is not posted. Although the outcome of part 2 was positive. Big Joe's Stomp Box Co. must of made changes and now provides FREE SHIPPING for the PS-202 Power Supply Adapter. Five Stars.Part 1 cont. There is one discovery that adds to the above conclusion and seems to gain "traction" with me, prevented my allowance for the remaining "2 Stars" to be seen, thus far. That discovery is the "complete cost factor" with hidden expense issues, creating a feeling of being gouged reasonably over the concern for what's needed to be satisfied. One Big Joe's " Power Bow Lithium" at $119.00 + $29.95One $15.95 Power Supply Adapter the requires $24.95 to ship. U.S. based SellerMy point here is not to rip the seller "a new one."So.. WTF...AVL$59.95............. For shipping with no lower options? USPS does Priority service for a parcel that size and weight for $10.00 -$14.00.That includes full insurance and tracking for two $2.00 more.Unless "Big Joe" and his current policies get reasonable... This review is gonna stick around.Power Bow Lithium - $119 + $29.95 + $15.00 + $24.95 = $189.85Rockboard LT XL / with Power Supply Adapter = $50.20 + $40.00 for INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES = $90.00, DELIVEREDI realize this position of "satisfaction" is subjective. And this example is purely based on my personal views and expectations..That is., Compared to someone else, perhaps., Willing to be raked for unforeseen costs, and forced to compromise to a desired outcome..i.e.The desired total costs by shipper. I would like to think we're all able to see how "Buyer Beware" disclaimers are meant to be reasonable premise to state some disassociation to a Seller and liability is an option.. While, still providing customer satisfaction. And I'm also aware of unreasonable complaints addressed to a Seller, and their need for what the market will bare. It's how some arrive to their total costs is my foundation for discontent. I was compelled to express the fact that I didn't catch the importance of the wording in header of said item's info.Basically I didn't buy the wall adapter because I thought it was in the box.Although, after getting the unit at my door and reading about conditions in the manual's pages, I just felt.,Why didn't the warning in the manual get more exposure on the item's page? We all would of rather be informed, if that's not obvious.Even if.I had to add say $20 to the balance for ignoring vital information, even though I thought the unit was a boutique item and had to be an over-priced item to begin with.While., Now I've come to wonder., Where's the line's being drawn? Consumer's can be informed and point out entrapment marketing.Or perhaps., Not realizing given the authority., allowing third party reps hold license to extract funds from their own customer base.If that were the case.. Then, Hey Big Joe! HEADS UP!! at missing the target. Here's simple request I would love to submit...If it states the following, as I read here from Big Joe's LT XL Operation Manual," on page 15., which happens to be a quote, printed as a RED INK Warning.."WARNING -: We recommend that you only use the PS-202 1700 ma. AC/DC Power Slot Power Supply..Other chargers may damage the unit AND VOID ALL WARRANTIES."Seriously? Leaving the Power Supply out, providing some cover for the first round of billing? That's Gouge 101.Lower buy-in and squeeze out the remaining profits, after the hook is swallowed, angle. Then dangle the exclusive carrot, so to speak... for a cure.for doubling of Initial expense. And the buyer is fleeced for buyer resolve. How NICE!What little I know about lithium batteries and charging rates, I can elaborate on in the specs just on what was printed in the manual.I should stop for now and regroup my reason to support this unit's potential and functionality. I'll look into a PS-202 adapter, even though a USB power source is optional. How's that Ol' WB cartoon best describe it...?"Waaaaeelll... Looks like we gotz yourselves a Pole Cat in the chicken coup, by golly!"To be continued, days from now. "Maybe Big Joe" can help, some how..The RBO LT XL was about $90, out the gate w/ the adapter.I highly advise a comparison.Back soon.

Doesn’t work
I had trouble with this from the start. It would occasionally give an overload message and wouldn’t power anything. I sent it in for repair. They said they tested it and it was fine and sent it back to me. I am still having trouble. Now all I have to do is plug in a cable without even having anything connected for it to power and I get an overload message. It has been no use to me at all.
