One sensor did not work - seller helped fix the problem - all is good.
I purchased this for monitoring the tires on my travel trailer. So far, I have just been testing it by putting four of the sensors on my pickup truck. I'm still not sure if I'm going to keep it or return it.PROS1. It has a very compact and lightweight control/display unit.2. The solar power charging of the display unit is a nice feature, making it completely wireless. Having no wires makes it easy to install anywhere, and to remove or place in the glove box when it's not being used. I don't yet have enough experience to know if the solar panel will keep it charged with my usage (I usually park my truck in a garage).3. The back lighting switches on automatically when it's dark, and is surprisingly good. I actually find it easier to read the display at night than in the daytime.4. The sensors are small and lightweight and install easily.5. The alarm is adequately loud and the alarm display is quite noticeable, even flashing red, which is especially noticeable when the back lighting is on..6. The batteries are easily replaceable using the tool provided for opening the sensor.7. The signal booster is small and easily installed in the trailer. I installed it near the fuse box, with one lead to an accessory 12 volt fuse and the other to the fuse grounding block. The signal booster contains a built-in 2 amp fuse.CONS1. The display looks like a display from a first generation LCD watch. It's hard to read in the daytime unless it is positioned just right with respect to the sun. The letters and symbols are quite small.2. I found it difficult to handle the unit without unintentionally activating the operating buttons which do not provide any tactile feedback. It goes into calibration mode whenever it's picked up in the way a right-handed person would naturally handle it. I learned to grip it carefully by the sides to avoid this.3. Only four of the six sensors are displayed at any given time.It cycles through the other two periodically so you cannot monitor all six sensors at one glance. This is a design decision that is clearly stated in the product description, but it's not as good as if all six sensor readings were shown on one screen.4. Customer service is only by email (no phone number), and the 24 hour response time stated in the description is not valid. One of the six sensors in my system does not work, and I"m still waiting for any kind of response to an email I sent 3 days ago.5. The user manual is brief, but at least it's in readable English, and if read carefully it tells you what you need to know. Conclusion to date: If Carchet makes good on the defective sensor, I'll keep it and upgrade it by a star or two. If I don't get a response in few more days, I'll return it as defective and try another brand.UPDATE: The seller did respond after four days, with an email apologizing for not responding more quickly due to a Chinese holiday. The email included a suggestion that I open the non-working sensor and adjust a battery contact strip to ensure it was in contact with the internal battery. The email also contained a code that would allow me to order a free sensor through Amazon if the sensor still didn't work. I'm pleased to say that the sensor did work after I adjusted the contact strip, so now all six sensors are working OK. I installed the sensors on my travel trailer, and found that without the booster there was an intermittent signal that sometimes dropped out, especially when a large vehicle was next to me. This was not unexpected, as this packaged includes a signal booster to handle this situation. I installed the signal booster in the trailer (not difficult), and now everything is working well. I just drove 120 miles with four of the sensors on the travel trailer tires and the other two on the front tires on my truck, and there were no dropouts. So, I changed my review from two stars to four stars. If it had a more readable display I'd give it all five stars. I'll update this review again if there is anything more to report.Updated 20 June 2017I continue to be pleased with this TPMS system after 8 months. Even though my 2010 Titan has a TPMS built in, it doesn't show anything more than an idiot light fault indicator. So I actually take the four sensors off my trailer tires and use them on my truck tires when I'm not towing the trailer. One more PRO: I really like the solar charging - even when my truck has been indoors in the garage for up to two weeks, the battery retains enough power so that the display always powers up as soon as I start the truck.. One more CON: When it's pretty hot (like it was 118 degrees in Phoenix today), the display washes out and becomes unreadable.

Saved our Vacation!
In June, my family and I drove round trip from Las Vegas, NV to Orlando, FL pulling our 23 ft travel trailer. We installed this TPMS on the brand new tires on our camper. When we were driving through Mobile, AL our TPMS started beeping, alerting us that one of our tires was quickly losing pressure. I am so grateful we had this monitoring our camper's tire pressure, we were able to safely pull over on the freeway and had no damage to the tire or our trailer. You can see the difference in pressure in the picture I posted. We had broken a stem, that was quickly fixed at the next tire store. If you have a longer trailer and tow vehicle, purchase the RV Carchet Monitoring system. This is a great product and I highly recommend! Thank you!

Innacurate tire readings...
I purchased this product and installed as it should be. I checked all my tire pressures right before installing the sensors. my tire gauge read 40 psi for all tires. However, upon installing the sensors, the tires do not read anywhere near that. The tires were showing pressures way lower.. Some of the tires were reading 34 psi, while one was showing 36 psi, and yet another one showed 35 psi.I took the sensors off and checked with a "different" tire gauge this time. It showed the same 40 psi for all tires. (I just filled them up.) I then checked all 4 of the batteries with a test meter and they were all good. I then reinstalled the sensors and drove the car around the block. Same thing. The tire pressure was not anywhere near where it should be. I would say this unit is at least 5-6 pounds off. I can understand a 1-pound difference maybe even 2-pounds.. But 5-6 pounds lower than the tire really is? Unacceptable readings to me.. I'm sure there are some people that are getting good performance from the unit, but I'm not one of them. I wish I could give a better review of this product, as I'm disabled, and can't walk. So that was the reason for the purchase in the first place. It would have made my disability easier to deal with if this unit had worked.
