An excellent intro for beginners
This book teaches you exactly what it says on the cover; how to understand yourself and your birth chart. It’s an excellent introduction to astrology for anyone who’s curious and wants to dig a bit deeper into the subject without being totally overwhelmed. Some of the concepts can be a bit tricky to grasp at first, so I found it useful to highlight technical terms and make notes.Although you will be able to structure a birth chart after reading this book, you may need to read part one a few times before you can interpret your chart fully. However, the author does mention several times that chart interpretation takes practice, so don’t let that put you off. Also, I like the emphasis on using neutral or non-binary terms to make the text accessible to anyone.

Inclusive astrology
This book is great for LGBT especially gender non conforming astrology nerds, its not a beginners book id call it intermediate. Its not about mapping the chart its about interpreting charts that you've mapped online. The book does away with gendered language entirely and replaces it with "night and day".
