This camera does a great job as far as picture quality. The only major downside is the lighting. The control for it works fine, but since all the lights point straight ahead, if you put this into anything that is larger than 6mm or so, all you see is black. AS a suggestion to the makers, if the leds were mounted on the outside of the case, and angled slightly out, it would illuminate much better. If there is any existing light, it works great. It does drop connection with the free app I downloaded, but picks it right back up again. I wanted to use this to look inside an engine block, and without someother source of light, it wont work for that type of application. I tried it inside a 2" pipe, you cant see anything either. But if you are using it in outside light, it looks like an excellent picture.

I purchased this product and was unable to use it on both my PC and phone (Samsung Galaxy S7). There is nothing indicating on the website that it is not compatible with either a standard PC or the S7. I would be happy with it working on only one of the two. When using on my PC, I received the following error message: "Runtime Error! This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." I would like information on how to use the product or a full refund, as it is useless without the software working. I followed all instructions provided with the product but to no avail. Please provide a resolution on how I can use the product or a full refund. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. It is greatly appreciated.

Image not overly clear, on built-in light clouds image so better to use a flashlight instead. The cord is heavy along with the fat connector causes the connector to bend at the USB port. Camera disconnects if you squeeze or bend the wire within a foot or so of the camera. Focus is not very good and the recommended app is goofy. Of course you get what you pay for, so I had little expectations and this was far less than I hoped for, "but", I did get what I paid for - cheap product. I would have rated two stars if the connector wasn't so poor and three if the lens didn't distort the image. Four if the backlight wouldn't cloud the image, and no way would this ever be 5-stars at this level of quality.

I have had for a little over a year. The connection is horrible. If you bump the camera on something hard while snaking it losses connection. I have only used it a couple of times. I would not recommend this product. I guess you get what you pay for.

I can't believe all these 5 star reviews are real. I fell for them. The endoscope came in, and I opened it up. The cable is as stiff as a wet noodle. There is no way you could push it down a vent or pipe.

If it works on your phone then it is a better inspection camera than snap-on sells for $$$.
