Unhappy with this grater's performance
I was a little hesitant when initially ordering this grater due to its higher price point. I have a similar shape and style of grater that I had purchased for much less years ago at a big box store. Upon receiving the grater, I was pleasantly surprised with the weight and build of the product. I had high expectations for this grater's performance and was looking forward to my first use of it. I chose this heavy duty grater over my cheaper, lighter weight one earlier this evening when I needed to shred some zucchini for our family's dinner. BIG MISTAKE. What tiny amount of zucchini that I was able to "grate" consisted of small, mushy pieces. The whole experience was an exercise in frustration and ended with my hand slipping from trying to apply extra pressure in a futile attempt to get this grater to shred the zucchini. I brought out the cheaper, old grater - and the zucchini was shredded successfully in a timely manner. I am hoping this grater will be able to shred cheese. If it doesn't, I guess it will have been a total waste of my money.

Good quality
My daughters grandmother wanted a new cheese grater for her birthday, so after doing a lot of research, this is the one we decided to get for her. It’s really sturdy and has the most options for different grates. It cost more than most others, but considering her grandma holds onto things for many, many years, we wanted to give her something that would last. Considering she’s not very generous with compliments, she has told us just how much she likes her new cheese grater.

Solid. Will last a lifetime.
This is the grater you were looking for. It's beefy. Doesn't flex. Had for over a year, still no signs of rust whatsoever, so this is a quality stainless steel and not just some mostly stainless. It lays flat in your drawer so it doesn't take up tons of unnecessary space like many other cheese graters. The rubber feet are also thick and tough. No signs of wear on them either. The construction is tight, meaning you won't have a bunch of water dripping out of the crevices because it doesn't get in there in the first place. My biggest question was the slight bend. The slight bend makes it easy to pick up, and it doesn't give too much bend, so it still lays super flat. This is the one you want.

Heavy duty and very sharp but partial bad design
This is a very heavy duty and sharp tool in stainless, so just what I wanted to replace my aging old Echo grater. However they got part of the design wrong. When you want to use the coarse grater you need to hold the slightly bent handle part and that puts the grater teeth right up next to your hand so it is hard to get a big block of cheddar in there. The old Echo was designed so you just reverse it and hold the other end and the coarse teeth pointed up towards the slicer part. So a bit annoying for coarse grating.

Cuisipro 18/10 stainless steel flat 3 way grater.
OMGosh. This is awesome. This should last me the rest of my life. It is made so well with stainless steel. It is heavy compared to the ones I have bought in my lifetime. Sharp? OH MY YES. In fact, I highly recommend being very careful as you could lose tips of your fingers. I recommend this very highly if you, like me, do alot of grating. I haven't tried the slicer which works if you turn it over, but I put my finger on it and it felt so sharp I don't foresee any problem slicing cheese or onions or even potatoes. Can hardly wait to try the potatoes. When I do I'll update this post.
