Love the Monopoly play money! Bought it to reward my kiddies at school for remembering history facts for a school Bee. They went over very well with the kids. When the Bee is over, they’ll use the money to purchase various goodies, gadgets, etc. Big hit!

My 6-yr-old Grandson & I chat every now & then online. Recently, he made up a game & we played awhile, but I ended up losing & jokingly was told I owed him “500 dollar bucks.” All joking aside, I needed a good gift for him. I saw this play money & bought it immediately. Best gift ever! It came neatly wrapped in cellophane & I can see the variety included. Love the product, the ease of buying it & am thrilled I can “pay him” my debt.

I specifically wanted the old version of Monopoly money and it just isn't around any more. They have come up with some new colors but my game is vintage and I wanted vintage extra Monopoly cash. It came sealed in plastic with no bent or torn pieces. It was just what I wanted.

The money is a slightly different color than the original Monopoly money but it works. Thank yiu

Found an original game an a used shop. Original money and pieces. The money was a bit worn. S And because it's an original, I'd like to keep them cared for. Funny how the colors have changed over the years from the old style to the new.

The colors match the newer Monopoly sets but that is okay. It does not match the two sets from my childhood. Even real money goes through printing changes. I think it adds a modern effect to the gameplay. I currently use this product for an incentive system. Wash dishes? $10. Fold laundry? $40. Harder tasks earn more reward. Having a physical item to hand out for rewards really helps. The system seems more real versus imaginary points when you can physically touch your reward. Works great for tactile or visual people. Also teaches money management skills when having to save more for a higher reward.

I bought this set of extra monopoly money because it is sold by Hasbro, so I assumed that it would be exact match to what we got with our game, (which is brand new, we needed more bills because they dont have enough with the game) however it is not. 1. The money is slightly larger than the money that came with our game, not a huge issue but it is still annoying. 2. The colors do not match what is represented in the pictures or what is in our game, as when you compare these bills to the ones we have, these ones are significantly less vibrant. The color looks significantly washed out, essentially. And this is the biggest issue, 3. You get 10 of each denomination. The picture makes it look like you're getting a lot of bills, but you are not. In reality you get maybe 1/3 the amount the picture makes it look like. Perhaps I'm missing it, but the amazon page does not specify how many bills you get, so you have to go off of the picture. Over all this is pretty much a bait and switch scam by Hasbro. I would recommend buying the off brand stuff, unless you really want it to say "monopoly" on it. The picture is completely different than what you get, and I'm Hasbro is well aware of that fact and still sells it. I would return it, but frankly 10$ inst worth more of my time than writing this review is taking.

I bought Monopoly refill notes but the product is not the same as the photo shown. It does not match the actual game notes at all. Very misleading listing. I bought it expecting it to look like the photo, but what arrived was completely different. The number printed was positioned at one side of the note. If you want replacement money for your Monopoly set, do not buy this. Save your money and look for another seller.
