Great paper. Works well.
Love this paper. Works well for my watercolor painting. On the rare occasions that Amazon actually delivers it in my monthly subscribe and save order.

Good Watercolor Paper
I decided to give this paper a go. I normally use Arches and I loved this paper. It works very nicely for watercolors and I give it five Stars. I also like Baohong for more casual work and at a cheaper price.

Excellent paper
I tried Cold Pressed, Rough in 300gm with this brand and go back to re-purchase cold pressed paper block. Love the soft texture and it’s vegan!!

A little work for some great paper
Great paper! It does require some patience to successfully remove it from the stack. For the serious watercolor artist, not the amateur.

Better than Arches
Used many brands of watercolor papers over the years and this is by far the best Ive come across in quite a while. Water performs smoothly, doesnt dry out too quick and keeps flat.

Hahnemuhle Collection paper Cold pressed is different lately
This brand of paper by far was my favorite to paint on - beautiful texture, great for wet on wet, forgiving. Recently though, the paper changed. I still have old pads & blocks at home and new ones, all bought on Amazon, all Cold press - 140 lbs. The old ones have more texture and a different feel when you touch the paper. The new ones are with less texture (almost like Hot press), drying way faster on wet on wet. Talking with other artists, I discovered that they had similar experiences with Hahnemuhle Collection. It is probably quality control issue at Hahnemuhle. I noticed the issue with the paper starting in the summer of 2023. On the back of the block/pad there is a control # and seems there is a correlation between the number and the quality of the paper, e.g. M2RG3072 is the "faulty" one, where 7143916 is a good batch. Last order that I had I was hoping to get more of the good ones, but what was my surprise when I saw that there is no control # at all. How can that be? Why is there no control #? Paper is so so. Not like the old ones but feels a little better than the "faulty" ones. If the problem with this paper continues, I will be forced to shop for another good quality 100 % cotton paper.

This paper doesn’t like to get wet
I purchased this paper at a less expensive paper to Arches. It doesn’t like to be wet. The block buckles the paint doesn’t move. Frustrating. I can’t paint clouds on it… and frankly I don’t want to adjust my painting to the paper… spend more and get a good result.
