I love this cd!!

There was a cracked in the cd. I thought I was buying a vinyl

Arrived in great condition - helped get through a tough day of work

Considering there were so many 80's hair bands back when I was in high school there were a few that stood out. Whitesnake was one. From the videos with Tawny Kitaen (oh how she has fallen on hard times) to the numerous players that made their way into and out of the band it was always interesting to say the least. The lyrics may not be anything special but Steve Vai, Adrian Vandenberg, Vivian Campbell, John Sykes, Warren DeMartini, Reb Beach, Neil Murrary, Rudy Sarzo, Tony Franklin, Ian Paice, Cozy Powell, Aynsley Dunbar, Tommy Aldridge, Denny Carmassi, Jon Lord and Don Airey to name a few of the musicians that have appeared on Whitesnake albums. As you can see there are even some nods to Deep Purple there. Many call David Coverdale a poor man's Robert Plant with a flair for the overdramatic but that was what it was all about back then. It is a fun album that brings back good times with friends and how can one forget Tawny doing a cartwheel on two Jaguar cars?

Just as a few others have mentioned, this is not a good audio sound. The only 2 songs I cared about (Here I go again and Is this love) sound as if they were transferred from a cassette tape. No hiss or pop mind you, just no dynamic range, more like a youtube audio quality. I only listen to this kind of fidelity if there is nothing better, say a 1960 mono album or something. Is there something better for these 2 songs from Whitesnake? If so, I wish someone would add a comment to this review.

Love this album. The Geico commercial is what prompted me to buy it and I'm not disappointed. Was shipped timely, in new condition, as advertised. I grew up in the 50s and 60s so wasn't really into this kind of music in the 70s but I love this group and had to have this album, White Snake greatest hits. I'm totally satisfied.

Overall this is a good CD but there are a couple songs that should be on here and are not. And there are a couple of obscure songs - not really a greatest hit if it was never a hit. Also a little disappointing as there are remixes of a couple songs that are very different from the original, example; Here I Go Again. Same song just done a lot differently than what was played on the radio back in the day. For the price and to fill the CD shelf its all right. If I had to do it over again I think I might choose one of the other 'compilations' CD's that Whitesnake have put out. And just once I would like to order a CD from Amazon and have it not arrive with a cracked CD case! Just once. I have lamented in other CD reviews...I can order some that may ship from Europe, or even as far as Australia and they arrive in perfect condition as the marketplace seller has packaged them very well. Yet I order one from Amazon, the warehouse is literally 10 mins. from my house, and it arrives cracked as it was sent in a paper envelope. Guess Bezos needs to save a couple of bucks. LOL!

アメリカのラジオでのオンエアを意識して録りなおしたヴァージョンなのでしょうか?個人的にはとても気に入っています｡しかし｢1987｣に収録されていたヴァージョンと比べるとドラマチックさは皆無と言ってもいい感じです｡本格的にアメリカ進出に乗り出したWSを俯瞰するにはいいCDだと思います｡

このアルバムはなかなかイイ感じに出来上がってます♪音質もGOOD♪最高です☆

HERE　I　GO　AGAIN　のUSAヴァージョン、個人的にはとても気に入りました。８７ヴァージョンよりPOP感が増し、アメリカンマーケットを意識したアレンジで、ギターもドラムもやや抑え気味かなと思いますが、いい感じです。Bad　Boysが入っていないのが残念ですが、いい選曲だと思います。
