Initially I had a few problems setting this up. But with great assistance and communication from the seller all is working perfectly as it should. This is a great product and is perfect for turning my lights on for when I arrive home from work in the early hours. Simple to set timers or just turn on and off using the app. Each socket individually controlled. I don't have Alexa or Google Home so can't comment on these functions. Thanks hugely to the seller for the help given.

I had no issues setting this up and pairing it with my Smart Life account, that part of the process was all pretty easy. Turning switches off and on via the app was easy.However, I found that the power bar regularly lost its Wi-Fi connection and so became uncontrollable as it was offline from the Smart Life service. When it was connected it reported a strong Wi-Fi signal, so that doesn't seem like it was a problem, and it was pretty close to the access point. For me, this was a deal-breaker and so I had to return it.I did also notice that it was very difficult to put in and remove plug sockets. Less of an issue for me as I didn't plan to change the attached devices on a regular basis, but could be a problem for others. It also suggests that it's not well-made, as this is the sort of the thing that should be addressed during product design or quality assurance.

Initial connection difficult as I have found with most budget 2.4Ghz only wifi Items. 5Ghz not so common , had to turn off 5Ghz connection on Virgin Hub to get it to connect to the 2Ghz signal and then turn the 5Ghz wifi on hub back on again when done. I also use the Tuya app which works fine with all of my Wifi and Alexa enabled purchases . So Tuya and Alexa only on my mobile not every single app for each and every item bought. I can switch all plugs on and off or individually but be aware with TV and speaker bar the units return to standby mode only when turned back on. Perfect for turning everything off at bedtime. My fan however is just fine the speed has to be done manually but the fan can be turned on and off with Alex or app. If only standby could be overridden or disabled on products with standby it would be better. Only other option is to buy a alexa compatible TV and so on..

Was easy to connect to Alexa, does the job well

This product worked well for about a month, whereafter one of the sockets refused to turn off. The other three sockets work fine, so I’m not sure what’s gone wrong, but as Sod’s Law would have it, it’s the socket that I toggle the most that’s failed. Very frustrating as these strips aren’t cheap and it’s past the return window now.

If you need several devices controlled at one location this is perfect. Rather than multiple individual sockets to buy and manage, this is 4 in 1. Overall around half the cost of 4 individual sockets.Each socket is controlled/addressed individually or you can turn them all on or off together.You also get the USB outlets (not controlled/switched) thrown in. Overall great value.

Firstly I'd like to say these came well packaged and look decent. However a few things have completely made these a huge regret for me and I will be returning them due to these major flaws.- Firstly as you can see in the picture I've attached on the app... there is no control for the USBs. They are just always on when when the smart extension is plugged in (I tested on the 2nd power strip i purchased to make sure first wasn't just faulty). Even if you turn off the power strip through the app - USBs will always be on. This means my chargers, leds etc always on and I need to manually turn off the switch from the mains j- which defeats the purpose of a smart power strip...- Secondly the build quality is quite laughable. I know this is cheap and it's plastic - but I just wanted it to be sturdy enough that when I hold it in my hands the bottom doesnt just flex and click in as if it could fall apart. This isn't such a huge deal as I'd normally just have it under the desk and never touch it again. But if you're expecting to plug things in and out often it might just break in your hands.- Finally even though it says it has surge protection I don't know if this is true. I plugged in my logitech g560 speakers (around £160 speakers) into this thing and now they have completely stopped workind. Perfectly fine on the old extension but soon as I switched my devices to this, it killed the speakers. I've tried different power cables and different plug sockets to I can confirm the speakers are indeed dead.I just hope people read this and do not have to go through the same things I did.
