The reason I bought this:I had previously ordered a similar style of backpack, from Wish, for my son. It said it was 36L, but there is no way that is possible. It is pretty tiny. As it turns out though, it is the perfect size for me to throw my work stuff in, and carry to and from work. So, I looked on Amazon (as it is generally more trustworthy, than Wish), for a larger one. My son wanted a nice big one, to fit his school computer and all the other stuff they have to carry.Information about this product:I liked that this backpack can be 45L or 64L, depending upon whether you unzip the expansion zipper. This thing is a beast! It is huge, for a regular backpack. Not framed, hiking pack huge, or anything. But, it is a large backpack. I noticed it also seems pretty heavy, even empty. But, my son doesn't mind. He is used to the weight, as all the stuff he has to carry for school weighs a ton. Seriously, you could use his loaded backpack as free weights.It comes with a couple of nice add-ons, too. It has a bottle carrier, big enough to completely cover an 18oz Yeti bottle. The bottle carrier has molle straps, to attach it on the outside of the pack (he put his on the side). There is also a rain cover, which you can keep in this stealthy little pocket, at the bottom of the pack. I forgot it comes with some D rings, for attaching things to the molle webbing, too. Although I am not sure how sturdy they are.My son is very happy with his new backpack.

I ordered this as a replacement for my work bookbag. I didn't realize it was going to be so big. Plenty of room inside. My only issue is that it doesn't have as many side pockets as my other bookbag. so finding where to put all my stuff inside is a big challenging. but this isn't the issue of the bookbag, more an issue of the bag being a different type. Bag looks to be of excellent quality and I love that it can expand via unzipping. Another thing to note is, that this bookbag weighs more than my old one, when empty the bag itself has some heft to it. just something to consider.

The worst thing about this bag is the zippers. They are very low quality and sometimes get stuck, making it hard to open. The bag is rather large, but the design isn't very practical. Unless you just plan on throwing everything in there I'd look elsewhere. I couldn't even fit 3 pens in the pen holders because the stitching was way off. All three spots were different sizes and one was too small.

This bag is a beast! Love it- purchased to use as a bug out bag & it fits a ton! It has most of the bells & whistles you'd find in a bag muchhh more expensive. The only downside is the cheap D rings - which I don't think I'd want plastic D rings in my bug out bag haha- so just getting metal ones & all good! It is worth every penny!

This is a great pack for this price range you could easily pay $80 for a bag like this in a sporting goods store. It is a good size and has plenty of room to store your stuff. It also has lots of ways to attach other things to the bag. It as most of the bells and whistles you would want and easily able to add the stuff it doesn't. Great quality heavy duty pack. You should definitely consider this bag you won't be disappointed.

For those that are curious. There is a panel for a water bladder on the panel facing the wearer's back. My 2.5L bladder with insulated cover fits fine. The panel is lightly insulated as well, with no reflective material. Will post photos when I'm able.

It hadall the bells and whistles. It was designed for bugging out. I was impressed with the extention zipper, bladder compartment and space. The price was such a deal. Lastly I packed it to the max-heavy, on the back it was comfortable.
